- The South African National Space Agency has issued a severe space weather alert, warning of potential voltage control challenges on the energy grid.
The severe geomagnetic storm is forecast for Friday through Sunday.

Carrington effect. The sun is going through a 11year solar cycle. The last impact was in 1859 iut knocked out telegrams then.
To blame this heat we experienced this year and global floods on man made C02 emissions and its effects on global warming would be rather foolish
