I see you picked up the "buff" that lets you create videos 10% faster but comes with the shadow nerf of removing the outro.
Facts
Hate that perk.
For either Arkham Asylum or Arkham City. You could get the proximity trigger for the explosive gel. However if you unlock it before completing a certain achievement then you'll miss out on 100% for the Riddler challenges. One of the challenges is to knock out five thugs at once with a single charge. If you upgrade before completing this challenge it will be impossible to do so with the proximity trigger
Vigorath/Slaking is the ONLY Pokemon I use an everstone for.
I’m happy yall are starting to include more Paradox Interactive Titles!
I'm pretty sure the vigor debuff in ER goes away when you use the item.
It does
Ha, so it's NOT obviously blatantly easy to get rid of the downsides of that hug. Someone just wanted to feel especially smug. I KNEW IT.
yea I'm pretty sure I have tested that one myself, the debuff is NOT permanent and goes away almost as soon as the effects wear off, but I could be wrong here, it has been some time since I played, but then the purpose of it isn't to get the buff or debuff anyway. It's a forced effect for a side quest should you choose to take that path.
I'll never regret hugging Fia. It's a hug that was needed when the whole game wants me dead.
Honestly, If there's one upgrade you'd have zero reason to regret getting is the Max firepower and infinite ammo upgrade for the Handcannon In OG Resident Evil 4.
Xcom. You NEVER GIVE UP ACC. The game alone makes it hard to LITTERLY hit the side of a barn when you are standing 1ft away, with 99% hit rate and STILL MISS.
Yeah. RNGesus in XCOM hates you. This has been true ever since the old XCOM (Xenonauts) games. In fact, it was way worst back in the old days.
BALDACHIN'S BLESSING is good when you use it in the right circumstances. Its a niche ability, but does have quite a few uses.
It gets a bad rap though because it blindsides with the 5% decrease.
10 Video Game Franchises That Never Left the United States
This is a good one. What would be on the list? I imagine something like madden would
That's a good one. I'm curious now
@@thecunninlynguist depends on how it is meant. For example, what if by "not leaving US" it is meant that each entry has a setting which clearly yells "Murica!" at you? :)
@@r3l1csvk Fallout. (As Canada was annexed I say it still counts.)
Just go watch Gamesack better videos anyway.
The Chainsaw in the original Doom from 1993, at first it may sound cool to mow down your enemies, until you realize it pulls them towards you with an unreliable stagger chance that can trigger random attacks (like the revenant shooting point blank rockets), and now you have to swap weapons twice if you want to use the more potent berserk punch.
Slaking is a beast! Vigoroth won’t be useful for a lot of the game, but there are perks to use Slaking and its Truant Ability. Like the good old Skill Swap strategy. In a Double Battle, have one your Pokemon that knows Skill Swap use it on Slaking, swapping the Abilities for both Pokemon and you have a Slaking that can attack without being hindered by Truant. In fact, its Gorilla Tactics that is Galarian Darmanitan’s ability that is far worse than Truant, as with Gorilla Tactics, you are LOCKED into using one move and if you want to use another move, you have to swap Galarian Darmanitan out and then swap it back in. You use Bulk Up to increase Galarian Darmanitan’s Attack and Defense? Swapping it out will reset its stats back to normal, thus not allowing to use the increased Physical Attack for a move like Ice Punch.
I wouldn't consider an Ability that's basically Choice Band worse than Truant.
I remember there was an NPC duo in R/S who used Skill Swap. I always thought that was such a cool way of teaching players the possibilities of the new Gen 3 mechanics. Or at least, after I was done cursing uncontrollably about the whooping I'd just received.
@@thatman666 Well with Truant, you can plan your next move. Gorilla Tactics is basically Choice Band without the increased attack.
@@krvgames9258 *without the increased attack.*
Either you preferred Zen Mode ability or never saw False Swipe Gaming video of Darmanitan.
@@krvgames9258 Gorilla Tactics gives a 50% attack boost (which stacks multiplicatively with Choice Band if you equip one).
Deadeye perk is rather niche. If you blow away the cover the enemies are always hiding behind then accuracy doesn't suffer as much and makes the damage from long range more than worth it.
Going back a few years: some weapon “upgrades” in the NES game Fester’s Quest actually make it harder to kill enemies. The bullet patterns can cause them to miss enemies, and they become useless in narrow passages because the bullets hit the wall and disappear as soon as you fire. Fortunately, I believe this only applies to the US release, as the problem was so bad that other releases changed the collision to let the bullets go through walls.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2004): The Beam Rifle.
It's the award for killing a certain amount of enemies with the Sniper Rifle without dying, which overrides said Sniper Rifle. The Beam Rifle has less zoom, and requires you to hold the shot on an enemy for about a second to kill them, rather than just one quick headshot. Worst of all, the shot doesn't line up with the sights so you have to compensate your aim.
This is then compounded with how the award system works, the more you earn the award, the less kills are needed to earn it, until eventually you spawn with the award. The only saving grace is that you start with the Sniper, and have to switch to your sidearm and back to your primary to get the Beam Rifle, so basically you just have to never use your sidearm if you want to keep the Sniper.
I do disagree with some points of the Slaking entry. I used Slaking in doubles battles with a max speed Alakazam with the move Skill Swap. It completely removes the downside of Truant. Even in one on one battles. Making Slaking with a tanky build kind of makes Truant a non issue
Can definitely tell this list is written by Jack pooley, why these guys continue to hire him completely baffles me
Depending on your preferred team comp/strategy, activating Bennett's 6th Constellation in Genshin Impact. It's great if turning your active character's normal attacks into fire attacks synergizes well (or if they are immune to it, but for characters who really on non-fire damage and can be effected by the infusion, it basically makes the best buffer in the game useless to them.
Idk, I just replayed Xcom. Deadeye seemed to be the right choice. Pistols rarely make or break anything, on the other hand, there are some enemy types that you really need to put down with the first shot.
Got a good chuckle out of the "giant enemy crab" reference. That presentation will never not be hilarious to me
Just TBF Fía is effectively an “Angel of Death” and is trying to necromancy a god back to undeath with the help of an undead dragon and a Cult
God forbid a woman has hobbies.
Baldachin’s Blessing is the item you get from Fia, but you don’t get the actual buff until you use up the item. Otherwise, you are stuck with the health debuff as long as the item is in your inventory.
Honestly the speed demon perk is still useful, the gas in the car consumed is by time not speed, so by taking the speed demon point you can get more Milage for less gas
iirc correctly in dragon nest there was passive to increase max mp by a set percent... trouble is all skills drain mp in a percentage like 5% mp cost for example
Slaking isn't so bad if you know what your doing. Protect actually is rarely used by NPC Trainers. Also, to avoid Truant's effect, I always switch Slaking out once it defeats the opponent. I always found Slaking useful against the first three members of the Hoenn Elite Four. I give it a Fighting move and Shadow Ball (Shadow Claw in the Ruby and Sapphire remakes) and perhaps Earthquake to use against a couple of Steven's Pokemon. I know Slaking is terrible in a competitive sense, but I never play competitively. I always play casually.
Speaking of talent tree buffs that are broken; Explosive Fury for Moze and Frenzy for Fl4k (Which doesn't work for Loader pets) in Borderlands 3 are still broken and will likely never be fixed.
I've finally trained myself to hug Fia, then immediately use Baldachin's Blessing.
Except all the times I forget.
I actually keep both the larger and smaller blessing on at all times.
That way when I get to that point where I'm just not quite good enough I can finally snap em an get an instant boost.
The perks I regret taking the most were the xp boosts in my first Fallout 3 run. It just means that you hit max lvl sooner which I wasn't aware of, foregoing other useful perks. When I realized it I was so p*ssed with my build that I rage quit. (Just to find out in my next run that I've been at the penultimate mission anyway...)
Not sure why, but this reminded me of Kessen II (probably the second strategy game I played), where I’m sure I made some bad decisions. Also, that game doesn’t get talked about enough
Heh, I'm replaying XCOM2 right now...
Deadeye is one of those skills I never choose. Lightning Hands is way too useful, especially with overpowered max level character xd
This list reminds me of the Moogle job class Tinker in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and A2. All their skills can either hurt or help your team by the flip of a coin. Often I got hurt so I avoided that class.
Lol yeah I went with Deadeye *maybe* twice but didn't have to think about the decision much after that.
Slackoff doesn't sound like a kid friendly name
Neither does Evo lancer.😂
either its a reupload it i have seen a video of identical or similar theme elsewhere for i do remember commenting on it by mentioning that "rewarding" chipset in 2017 Prey
Some of the video for EUIV is Imperator. The year and Latin gives it away.
I can think of 3 other Fallout three perks I won't take. Refractor does not work, the last nuclear physics perk can blow you up and waste a fusion core. The final level of idiot Savant increases your combat experience but lowers it use in non combat,
Came looking for a Jess video 👍 nice to hit one on the first try.
Deadeye in xcom is a great ability epecially later in the game
Start at 0:40
Fia is Fortissax. The dragon you fight inside Fia's dream.
They are the same. Fias sister Lancenneax turned into a human to found the Dragon Cummunion Cult. We know dragons CAN turn into humans.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. Theres WAY More to it. But yeah its pretty obvious when you realise it.
So that's why my Elden Ring Character always has that Red debuff from hugging that Women! Damn it!!
10/10 will hug again
the blessing in Elden Ring has a quest behind it so....
Anyone who doesn't give the deathbed attendant a hug is a hugless virgin and that's the end of that story. I don't care if you get a slight health reduction
Becoming a vampire in elder scrolls
Level 2 dead eye in RDR1. Wtf were they thinking
I don't remember it. What was the problem with it? And was there a 3rd lvl to redeem it?
@@tubensalat1453 it automatically marked targets where you aimed which you'd automatically shoot when it timed out. Constantly caused you to shoot things you didn't want, like your own horse.
Level 3 allowed you to manually mark targets
@@McGeezle Ah, yes. Think I shot a few of my horses that way. And lassoed a lady on an escort mission, thus failing it; but I'm not sure if it was in deadeye.
Personally id have used idiot savants max rank as fallout 4s example rank 2 is 5x xp when it procs and 3 is a random 3x bonus on kills not quests while 2 is both
Speed demon is an absolute necessity in zomboid.
Need to accelerate thru zomboids? Speed demon helps woth that. Need to tow? Speed demon helps with that.
There is cruise control on the game so the people dying to speed demon collisions are noobs.
In oracle of ages, I've always hated the upgrade to the mermaid fin
Another edition of we have already done this before
Idiot savant last rank - fallout 4
First😂
No one cares 😂
Pathetic
What gun is the player using in the New Vegas clip? I don't recall a gun with a display like that....
Is the proximity trigger a thing in Arkham City? I thought it was only for Asylum. Or it could be that I've just deliberately ignored it every time. In any case, it would be a good upgrade if it was toggable. Making it permanent is what makes it so bad.
