    When you’re looking for information on peripheral neuropathy, it’s easy to find details about the symptoms, the types of medications prescribed AND the different causes.
    But here’s what’s not so easy to find.
    What does it feel like when your nerves begin to recover?
    How long does it take for nerves to heal?
    And, is the healing process the same for each peripheral neuropathy case?
    Well, in this video I’m going to give you The Inside Scoop on EXACTLY what happens as your nerves begin to heal and what you can expect.
    In part one, I'll review the healing journey of damaged nerves. In part 2 I'll go over how long recovery for peripheral nerve damage takes. And, in part 3, I'll share with you what the healing process is like for each peripheral neuropathy case. This should help answer all of your questions.

    Another great video. I have had neuropathy for 12 years. I had to educate myself over the years. The specialist I went to never mentioned R alpha lipoic acid, benfotiamine and other supplements to help me. I am now taking Ubiquinol 200mg and ultimate omega. I can tell a difference only after adding these two new supplements for two weeks now. Anyone who watches this video, know these doctors are the real deal and know exactly what they are talking about. As soon as my neuropathy is gone, I’m going to Texas to thank them personally.

    I had pretty bad burning in my feet. Taking B1 B6 B9 and folic. Exercising at the gym, half mile fast walking on treadmill. Also, intermittent fasting, not eating 10 to 14 hours, 3 to 4 days a week. Foot massage. Also, taking cod liver oil. For immediate burning, I used bio-freeze and ice pack directly on my feet, helped immensely! I had major improvement within week or 2. Really watching my blood sugar, and not letting it go high. When it does, the burning sensation does return. I' ve had tingling a year, but the burning only started 2 weeks ago. Also, taking cinnamon and tumeric, in my tea, has helped with inflamation, My doctor was going to immediately put me on Gapbepetin. A new study just came out saying people on Gabepentin, we're having strokes heart attacks, deep vein thrombosis, etc. Boy, i am glad I told the dr. no thank you. Thanks for the informative video...very, very good. Oh, I also went off metformin, loratidine, and statins. 2 which actually cause vitamin B, not to be absorbed. I have lost 9 lbs. in 6 weeks. Lifestyle changes are the way too go, I also eat a lot of veggies, drink a lot of water, and eat fewer carbs and snacks, by far! God Bless all who suffer from neuropathy, don't give up!

    BRAVO… every question thoroughly addressed… and you two beat me to my next suggested video subject… THE MENTAL PART!!! THAT has been the TOUGHEST part for me. Trusting that your body can heal and maintaining an optimistic attitude whilst enduring pain is truly an art form. “Will I heal? Will I get worse? What if the pain begins to affect my sleep?”… and ruminating and ruminating and ruminating. The internet is filled so much so with info that would cause someone, who really wants to be better and back to normal, to think they’re DOOMED!!! Thank you for the shout out AND the video!

There was one question you had that I didn't get to address in this video and that was Small Fiber Neuropathy vs. Large Fiber. Just wanted to let you know, I didn't overlook that. The video was getting too long so I decided to make that a topic all of its own. That video will be coming up in about 4-6 weeks. Blessings!

  • @fuyooooo
    @fuyooooo Před 8 měsíci +3

    My nervous system has never been really robust because stimulants such as caffeine would start irritating it when I became a young adult but it got bad when I started binge drinking throughout my 20s weekly. So bad that I decided to cut back on alcohol significantly at 32 and the recovery process was brutal for the first 2-3 months due to the symptoms getting more severe. Most of my symptoms occurred on the left side of my body and around my neck. These included tingling, pin/needles, burning, electrical shock feeling, and numbness/stiffness. My left eye kept twitching randomly for 3-4 weeks! I told my doctor on several occasions and they simply advised I cut back on drinking, which I completely agree on but they didn't offer other advice on how to better recover. After 6 months of eating a healthy keto diet, jogging 15-20 minutes a day and eating vitamin supplements, 90% of the symptoms went away!

    I was not consistent. My Fault!!. It took 3 years. Now 99% cured. I must do daily on bed and out of bed exercises on chair and standing exercises. I'm 75 years old. Vegetarian. Grains for protein. On thyroxine tabs only.

    My supplements will come in a few days, I so look forward to starting them. In the meantime, I'm working on my diet and exercise. And of course, my mental state of mind, learning to relax, breathe deeply, quiet myself and focus on my healing that starts deep within. Since we are dealing with nerves here, so many factors can trigger reactionary outcomes.

    Thank you for your highly informative and truth telling on all bases. I have highly benefited from the vibration plate.I got immediate results on first use for a fifteen minute session. No big setup, read the simple directions, did research. Helps on so many levels in conjunction with Benfotiamine, R-ALA, L-Citronella,l-Carnitine. I want to find the best red light, near infrared machine and have listened to Dr. Coppola’s video on same, still looking.

    • @MrPhilip381
      @MrPhilip381 Před 3 měsíci

      You may have to spend in excess of $1,600 for the NeuropaCalm boot device for proper near infrared treatment if you follow Dr. Coppola’s advice. I could not afford this and consequently I invested $234 in CuraLights Deep Healing pad. In spite of their recommendations, after four months of daily applications of this device, I will bet Dr. C will poo-poo this investment of mine in the CuraLights device.

    Thank you for this informative video, I feel more hopeful the more I watch. Best of all I feel heard. I had already initiated most of the suggestions and am slowly feeling some relief from the awful pain, which means I am actually sleeping again. I am all into helping oneself and use natural means when I can; inversion, acupuncture, total body vibration, walking, swimming. Adding or adjusting certain supplements have worked better than Gabapentin, which I took for years without real relief. My concern has been the damage that was continually done. Now that I am beginning to feel better my focus is on healing and reversing any damage. I feel doctors tend to not have a lot of interest in the senior patient, but I am independent and active, and strive to live a quality life. Thank you for giving me (and others) hope.

Some of my best friends are in their 70's and they've been the source of great wisdom and life experiences for me. We should NEVER UNDERESTIMATE OUR SENIORS. They're the backbone that have allowed us to climb the heights we've achieved.

    One more thing regarding nutrition that I’d like to warn folks about and chances are if they’ve been tuning into you they already know but if you don’t eat white flour and sugar and all that stuff and think you can replace it with something like rice cakes think again rice cakes are higher in Glycemic index, than even sugar, I spent a lot of time on the road playing music and so I had a couple of little snack things that I kept with me because I didn’t eat meat and I didn’t eat dairy and rice cakes was one of those things I always eat the most expensive well advertised healthy type rice cake, I can only say that I wish I could take those days back. It’s been a while now since I’ve eaten rice cakes and the injuries to my hands isSlowly but surely returning, and that is also with your help as well so once again thanks

      Hi Mike. Yes, the vibrating sensation that you describe is caused by damage to the sensory nerves of the peripheral nervous system. Quite often it can be caused by toxic exposure to chemicals that you are unaware of. You you need help or guidance, feel free to schedule a Zoom or telephone consult with us. We spend up to 1 hour with you doing an in depth review of your past and current medical history and lifestyle factors to get to the root cause and then we can lay out the best strategy for your recovery. If this is something you're interested in, you can call us at: 844-400-0101 or book online at: bit.ly/Neuro-Consult
      Hang in there. You're not alone. Blessings.

      Hi Shaik. I just saw your questions. Yes, trigeminal neuralgia can heal. Start with a good quality nerve support formula like Nuphoria cm Gold (disclosure-this is our formula). If you have not had significant results in 90 days you will need to add photobiomodulation to the treatment. I'm going to include a link to my video so you know what that is: Healing with light: czcams.com/video/NNXDuFc5cHU/video.html

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  Před rokem

      Hi there. I'm so sorry you were bitten by a dog. Well I'm assuming that the bite happened to either your leg or hand/arm, which would mean that it's still a peripheral nerve. So you would treat it the same as any peripheral nerve damage as long as the nerve wasn't severed (cut). Start by taking a good quality Nerve support formula. Now, since this injury is very old, I suspect it may take anywhere from 3-6 months before you see a noticeable improvement. There's a chance that you might need to use photobiomodulation to get the nerve to heal and regenerate but I would start with the nerve support formula first, because it will be the least expensive route. Please keep me posted. Blessings.

    HELP!!! I think I have now watched all your videos - and I am beyond confused. I have neuropathy but I am 84 years old and not any of the physicians I have consulted appear to have any interest in treating me so I continue to do my best to educate myself and find relief.

    supplements you recommend would be to give relief and relieve stress, etc. No matter how carefully I have watched and tried to make my own list, so many things are mentioned in so many different messages that I just cannot seem to feel confident in the lists that I try to make....

    How can we tell or find out which specific nerves are damaged? I have PN in my legs & feet which causes balance issues, as well as mobility, and muscle function problems. (Inability to run "normally", jump (I know what to do but somewhere between the signal from my brain to my muscles the signal gets blocked so no matter how much force or inner strength I build up to get ready to SPRING UP with all my might, I can only jump maybe 4-6 inches.), coordination for jumping rope, standing in place while exercising (weight lifting, lunges, etc).
    My balance as improved slowly when climbing stairs without assistance, or walking, but the other issues seem to be taking forever to improve. I've tried taking Benfotiamine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, weight train consistently, have even tried using Infrared Light Therapy aimed directly on specific nerve locations on my legs & feet; but again not knowing where the specific damaged nerves are, I don't know if I'm just wasting my time.

      @NerveDoctors  Před rokem

      Hi Shaik. I'm going to do my best to advise you with the very limited information that I have. So, typically with Supraorbital neuralgia it's caused by infection or trauma to the nerve. If the cause hasn't been infection, or if the infection is already cleared but has left you with injury to the nerve, then Nuphoria cm Gold and Blue should help. It will not be a quick fix. It will take quite some time. Now, if the infection is still present then the priority must be with clearing that up or else the Gold and blue will not help. If you're unsure, make sure you check with a doctor in India to make sure there are no signs of infection. Blessings.

      Good morning! Absolutely. First, you need to make sure that the cause of your ulna nerve neuropathy is not due to a biomechanical compression that is still present. Now, if the nerve is not getting trapped and compressed in the joint or by a bony articulation then what you'll need to do is see a chiropractor and physical therapist. Many chiropractors provide physical therapy in their offices. You will need both. Then you will also need to address any injury to the nerve and you will do this by taking a good quality nerve support formula. If you don't know what to look for in a nerve support supplement I'll include links to my videos that will show you.

What is the role of this supplement?..and for how long have these supplements been used without harm? Do they cause damage to the kidneys and liver in the long run.?? (Notes) I suffer from these symptoms from 7 months ago (I do not suffer from diabetes) (I did a neurological examination and it is (normal) and I also used a supplement (1000mg b12) from time to time and the reason is that the b12 test is slightly above moderate..Thank you again 🙏 I use the translator.

      Hi Nasser. Methylcobalamin, pyridoxal 5 phosphate and Acetyl L Carnitine (ALCAR) have been shown in research studies to reduce burning from PN. You will need a lot more than 500 mg of ALCAR. Hi there. Yes CIDP and peripheral neuropathy are the same. CIDP indicates that the cause of your PN is autoimmune in nature. Yes, for CIDP cases we treat them the same way as peripheral neuropathy cases, but in your case it will be imperative to follow an anti-inflammatory diet or a ketogenic diet. Hang in there. You can conquer this.

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  Před 4 měsíci

      I am so sorry you're experiencing this. The best way to overcome this fear is to use a walker, temporarily, when you leave the house. This will give you far more stability than a cane and prevent you from falling. Start by just going outside of your house, without leaving the premises (yard, patio, etc.). When you've built up enough confidence, then maybe walk down the street with a friend or family member. Since you're battling fear, it's best to have someone with you. Always remember fear is an irrational emotion. I understand you might be afraid of falling and this is valid because a fall can cause significant injuries, so take precautions to minimize your falls or injuries and don't forget to be ok with laughing at yourself. When we've lost our health and/or our independence...laughter is the first thing to go...and I get that...it can be extremely difficult to stay positive. However, laughter truly is the best medicine. Most importantly...take every day...one day at a time and focus on the positives. You're making great progress. Just because the progress is slow doesn't mean it's not great. DON'T GIVE UP and stay strong. You mentioned that you are a princess and I would imagine carrying that title also means you are a role model...whether you want to be or not. Embrace that and be the strong role model for all of those in your shoes suffering from GBS or other neuropathic disorders/diseases. Blessings. Sending you much Love & Light!!

      @NerveDoctors  Před rokem +2

      Hi Robert. I'm so sorry you're battling this and I know how frightening it can be. So, MG is an autoimmune disease that affects the nerves and can result in polyneuropathy/peripheral neuropathy. I'm releasing a 3 part video series on Multiple Sclerosis (also an autoimmune disease) and peripheral neuropathy next week. Make sure you watch that because the information for MS is the same for MG. Now,let me address what you need to do. This is not a typical PN case so it must be approached from multiple angles. It's great that you're on R-ALA and benfotiamine but these 2, alone are not enough. You must be on a comprehensive nerve support formula. Normally I don't promote my own formula because I want you guys to have the information without feeling like I have an ulterior motive. The only motive I have to make sure you get what you need to get this condition under control. Having said that, I have not come across any other formula that is as comprehensive as sours with the clinical amounts necessary for nerve health. You will need both Nuphoria cm Gold and Blue. (here's the link: healmynerves.com/collections/nerve-support/products/nuphoria-cm-gold-blue-bundle). Now, this will be the foundation of your protocol but won't be enough on its own to get you signficant repair. You will need to invest in a photobiomodulation medical device. Dr. Coppola did 2 videos on this: Healing with light (czcams.com/video/NNXDuFc5cHU/video.html) and "How to Avoid buying Infrared Junk" (link: czcams.com/video/bX22Re7PDSs/video.html). Make sure you watch these so you can become informed about them because they're not cheap. Lastly, you will need to address mitochondrial resuscitation. We also have a video on this: "Why aren't my nerves healing" (link: czcams.com/video/1Gb_1RGX6Jc/video.html). This will get you on the right path. Also, you must! must! change your diet. The wrong diet continues to fuel autoimmune diseases of every kind. I recommend the AIP Diet (Autoimmune Protocol Diet). Just search on you tube and you'll find lots of info on it. Because you haven't done a complete regimen yet, you're probably looking at another 2 years, however you should see improvements by somewhere between month 7-8. Let me know if I can help you any further. I really want to see you get control and improve from this.

    Hello from Uganda. I have Peripheral neuropathy since 2022 july. After doing over 20 tests no cause has been determined. I am 27 years old.
    I have seen plenty of neurologists here but they keep me on gabapentin and pregabaline i am tired of medication.
    I got relief only after going to a physiotherapist then i completely got rid of medications.
    My only worry is it keeps coming back and getting better then back thats the cycle.
    I have alot of muscle weakness and pains.
    Burning in the whole body mainly legs.
    Trouble sleeping sometimes.
    I really need to talk to someone out there who can actually help me with what supplements i need to take.
    How can i contact you while in Africa

      Hi, . I’m so glad the video was helpful.
      From clinical research, we discovered that specific vitamins help facilitate nerve repair for peripheral neuropathy. For more information, you can check out these two videos:
      Vital Nutrients for Nerve Repair
      czcams.com/video/wPruq49-ksU/video.html
      The Right Dose
      czcams.com/video/dKMPMPJM4JY/video.html
      I know from experience that it is difficult to find the right types of vitamins at the therapeutic level in most stores. When I was searching for my mom to help her with her peripheral neuropathy, I had to buy 7 different bottles of nutrients which cost close to $300 for a 1-month supply.
      Now, I know that is a lot and taking that many vitamins is very hard to do. So, we created a formula that supplies all the vital ingredients at the therapeutic dose in 2 bottles: Nuphoria cm Gold and Nerve Defense. You can purchase them at nuphoria.com, or call our customer support line at (844)400-0101.

      Have you checked your Iron levels? I have neuropathy due to an Iron deficiency anemia.
