If anyone deserves the title of Lion King of Las Vegas, it's Kirk. Like many others with ties to Las Vegas, Kirk died in my hometown Beverly Hills and I was happy to have him as a neighbor, even though I never met him.

He was a GREAT philanthropist. The NY times on multiple occasions named him one of the top 10 philanthropists in the US.
My best friend is Armenian, when he first came to the USA he didn't even own car . 20 years later he has 8 houses and three completely paid for. Everything he has was do to his great mined, business sense and extremely hard work .He is an important asset in my life and for that i am very fortunate.
Armenians are hustlers and builders. They like building empires but many are very selfish as well. Its a double edged sword for us though because it attracts jealous people with bad intentions, like the turks and russians who want what we have. Armenians overall though are a very talented people that work hard and give back to humanity.
The book is fantastic! A must read.

Heard a story about one of Kirk's kids. His ex wife / girlfriend apparently slept with someone else and got pregnant and made Kirk believe it was his kid. Years later he found out but still decided to support the kid cause he felt he was still her dad!

Kirk also once fronted money to Mike Tyson to get him to fight at the MGM grand but Tyson screwed him and decided to not fight and still kept the money.

But yet, he built so many churches in Armenia! Yes that is a true story once in his young young young days when his family had first moved to Fresno California they approached an Armenian church who refused to help. That had hurt him deeply. But he was a very faithful Christian man! And years and years later not only that he built Armenia, but he built so many churches in Armenia! So proud to call him as an Armenian grandfather a.k.a.
