"You May Live To See Man-Made Horrors Beyond Your Comprehension" - Nikola Tesla
It's all fun and games until someone gives themselves Super Cancer.
Actually
This sounds like a Lovecraft thing
Nice scaremongering. We need more people like you to build the future.
You may also live to see man-made wonders beyond your comprehension
Then came the nuke
I don't think the guy who could only see gray, "took it too far". He had a disability, found a work around and gave himself abilities that normal people did not have. While he is using a prototype... His tech will only advance and one day it could grow (or shrink) to the size of a grain of sand. It might no longer need to be external, it could go as far as to cure blindness... it is a long ways away... but it is a start.
I wouldn't call colorblindness a disability in the sense that word gets thrown around. Hear me out.
I have a friend who sees only greyscale, funnily enough he knows the names of most colors by their computer codes, and he can differentiate between colors an order of magnitude better than I, with "normal" vision.
It is a disability in the sense that it's an ability they are without, but it is by no means a handicap.
@@B_Van_Glorious It depends on the situation
@@B_Van_Glorious yea I got 20-20 vision with hard red-green /blue-purple color deficiency and honestly donât notice until some1 points out whatever object I called orange was really yellow , or red was really pink
Itâs just annoying lol
Hey, he will maybe see more colors... + i can see more(ish) corols. So now i have i person that will uderstand me.
It wonât be long til they are recording everything you âseeâ and use it against you
Bro, when can I Biohack myself so I can count
đ
My man!!
l second, or third that, actually.
69th like....noice
honestly I think bio hackers will be a very important part of our future. academic research and such takes a long time and has to deal with getting permission for certain research, convincing officials, etc. whereas with bio hacking people can just do it and see if it works. if it does, they can come out with it and others can try it for themselves and thus create sometimes even better research simply by the amount of people involved
M. Moc. M. mm zl
You are so correct. I couldn't say it better myself.. they just forgot to mention Neuralink and human organs grown from stem cells in labs.
Might be how it is in the future, when everyone can get their hands on cheap equipment. Still, you need some sort of education, as the average Joe probably ain't going to discover the cure for cancer. However, a lot of scientists might be willing to experiment on themselves, in their own homes, with their own equipment.
Me, with magnets implanted in my fingers: "wow, science is going too far."
Yo Iâve seen This before where did you get it and does it hurt?
@@joshryan9735 It's most common in the ring finger and it hurts when you're getting it, but it heals and you get the ability to not just lift metal, but also sense magnetic fields
Finally, I can use biohacking to stop my periods, lose weight, and possibly become a vampire
I would want bio hacking to make it, so I never get colds or if I do make it so I can breathe through nostrils at all times.

Find a way to eliminate anxiety and then I'll be 100000% behind this đ
What about using a antibody to degrade CRH receptors, to reduce stress hormone production? I can see this reducing oneâs proneness to anxiety.
@@mikxy.s.4553 That depends on the other brain regions reaction to the antibody, which could make it impossible, or creating a hormonal imbalance that could harm you. Im sure that if what you said can be done without any drawbacks, it would already be done. There is a lot more research that needs to be done.

Being blind, itâs hard to walk around and not get lost, everywhere I go. I would like my DNA to be modified, through bio hacking, so that someday, I could see.
For sure I would do the same if I was blind
i really hope these biohackers could evolve themselves to " Warhammer 40k " level, you know....

I don't understand how the color blind guy's device works. Does his implant just tell him the colors of any/everything he looks at? He still can't see color, correct?
Hes just a weirdo with a coat hanger strapped to his head
there is an existing condition where the person can see colors when they are subjected to different smells.
my hypothesis about this dudes antenna, that it is somehow connected to part of his brain that is in charge for seeing colors and stimulate it, not sure how tho. mehh maybe i'm not that smart after all. i have only 106 iq :(
Correct.
@@Stowneyo It actually works neophyte
Its be kinda useless if it just told him the colors don't you think? Its wired directly to his brain, fascinating stuff.
