This looks bad ass. And his acting while doing those moves is spot on. It makes me feel like he's actually taken over by an AI with his reactions... impressive. Looks like a great movie.

Defiantly want to see this but the gunhand seems a bit much. How is it any kind of an advantage over a regular gun? Also the barrel of a gun gets really hot wouldn't that burn the shit out of the inside of his hand?
In reality, you're completely right. The way it's depicted in the film, it's a cybernetic implant. Concealment would be an obvious advantage, except then your operators can't go through a metal detector or sci-fi weapon scanner ever again without giving their identities away. The only kinda practical reason I could think of is totally paradoxical. The arm gun seems to be of a relatively high caliber, even shooting through walls at times, so perhaps major reinforcement of the guy's bone and muscle structure provides a recoil dampening effect in a way that a traditional weapon couldn't. It really doesn't make any sense, unless somehow they found some super technology which made it more practical to have your soldiers run around with implanted .50 caliber rifles instead of just holding them. Ultimately, you're totally right. It shouldn't make sense, and all that would result is broken bones and burnt flesh.

okay, so, this looks like an action/sci-fi but it says its made by, the creators of GET OUT, SAW, HAPPY DEATH DAY, and THE PURGE, all horror movies, you can tell its gonna be violent, and gory. but them making a scifi action movie?
EPIX ANIMATIONS the producers did the other stuff the guy that made it is the actor that was the photographer from the first Saw movie(the one chained up with the doctor the whole movie)
Too bad this movie suffered 2 injustices. The first is this movie came out at a time where the home video rental market no longer exists like it did over 25 years ago where it would’ve gained cult status. The other is that this movie was released (squeezed) in theaters between major record breaking blockbusters that year. The theater fatigue at that time was the major reason this awesome 80s style movie went completely unnoticed. What makes it even worse is that this movie wasn’t in circulation as a free stream on services like Netflix and Amazon in major markets pretty much ensuring it would never be discovered by anyone who didn’t already now this movie existed. Such a shame
