Once you are a pastor or traditional healer, you call yourself as a doctor. Thank you, professor for clarification. If you want to earn that title, you must go and study at the public university and then you graduate as a doctor. No shortcut.

You earn it by submitting a thesis plain simple the same way accountants and advocates earn their strides by writing a grueling board exam

Everyone in SA is going to be a "Dr", a Sangoma, a DJ and a prophet. Let's be clear, anyone who has been honored with honorary doctorate does not have to be called a doctor.

Academics as well have given too much respect to mediocre in SA by also behaving the same way as people who have no education and therefore have no understanding of politics. The death of Black Intelligesia destroyed SA in many respects.
