When I listen to Hard Rock/Glam Metal it gives me the feeling that I will be able to achieve all my dreams, my favorite subgenre of rock in roll, this band is one of the best in the style, guitar solo and incredible music. 🇧🇷🤘
I keep saying it.....I'm going to build a time machine and fly back to the 80's with my hair on fire and my dusty 6 six string on my back and live it again and again.....
Great bands you mention right there (my fave among them being Leatherwolf). There are 3 reasons why they were not as popular: they came into the scene just a yr or two too late, they weren't as 'pretty' as Poison or Bon Jovi, and they were a bit heavier. Rock on, bro!🤘
Damn the Record companies for going all in on Grunge and backstabbing all the Glam bands they signed on. Not to mention Nirvana for taking over the prevailing ethos of Rock music, making it so that Rock had to be dour and depressing in order to be serious. Also, Metal Elitists for being assholes and over saturation.
I saw them live at Impaxx Buffalo NY. With Wildside and Roxy Blue. It was one wild night back in the early 90’s. Been a fan since I first heard the debut album and would love to see them live again.
I know a lot of people hate on hair metal but when you think about it it was a system which cultivated and harvested amazing rock tenors and guitarists at a very fast pace.
You´d be amazed to see how many people still love this type of music , i wasn´t born when this came out but me and a lot of my friends love it , it was fun and had some great musicians to boot .
+Merle Langlois dude, what are you talking about, only that underground thrash metal bitches hate on Glam Metal, I´m only 24, but I was growing up on awesome bands like Whitesnake, Dokken and mostly Def Leppard, 80´s Glam Metal was the best commercial music ever, not mentioning how many great guitar heroes it brought us, GLAM METAL BITCH FOREVER !!!!
Merle Langlois FUCK all the haters. They weren't there, we were. Our music started theirs, they are all just kids anyway, so what the he'll could they know anyway?bunch of teeny bopper don't know shit about nothing. This sone is epic. Anybody from LA, remember the radio station KNAC? That station was the best.
Ahhh! The ole Babylon A.D. their lead singer Derek could belt it out!!! Good ole band here, came outta the Bay City area in California (San Fran) I believe. This album is tuff to find today but is worth every penny when you do! Used to crank this song in the ole '86' Z-28 back in the day! Awesome song!
What a kickass song by these guys. They had the total package, from the look, tone, musicianship and compositions. They should've been way bigger. Now I have a page to bring these bands back to life. This song rocks!
Loved this band! Such an underrated group. Had this album on cassette back in the day. I remember I ran out of gas listening to it in my first car (shitty Mustang), after taking it to school illegally "without mom knowing." Lol!
Still listen to this album quite often. I bought this albums Tab book when it came out and learned every song on guitar. Still some of my more fun songs to play..They have a new album coming out in Sept.. stoked!
Awesome!!!! Still have the cassette that I rocked throughout '89 ( and I rocked out many kick ass albums that came out that year ). Shit, I still jam out to all of them:) Keep it rockin' folks!!!!!!!!
they should have given this to a producer with balls -- who was ready to mix this to 10x the power -- just bring in the wall of sound-- such a good song -- nice job guys
To Benoit Vanhees, Just wanted to say I really love all of the bands that you mentioned in reply to my rant/ reply to your opinion of Babylon A.D. I'm a huge fan of all of those bands as well. Maybe it's just a generational thing or a matter of taste. Either way, I'm in my 40's, mature, and a hard working, tax paying, contributing member of society. I like what I like, you like what you like. To each his own, whatever YOU LIKE IS WHAT YOU LIKE AND VICE VERSA! Carry on dude!
Well I was in high school from 1982?to 1985 I was a teenager when this music lived kids tell me they are jealous of me because I seen Iron Maiden in 1982 on the number if the beast tour and seen Def Lepard on pyromania tour!
I caught this video on VH1 Classic a few weeks ago, and I was just hooked. The CD was out of print, but I found it used on Amazon Marketplace. The album is fantastic! "Sally Danced" is a little away from my taste, but everything else is SLAM BANG BAD ASS! A totally solid album. Too bad not more people can get it since it's their only album NOT on iTunes. I've been listening to these tracks over and over again. I'm a full-on fan now! Cool video, too. Gotta love the old performance ones!
One if the best bands from the 80's in my opinion!
Babylon A.D + Baton Rouge = Killer albums
Met this group in person. They are awesome, coolest guys
When I listen to Hard Rock/Glam Metal it gives me the feeling that I will be able to achieve all my dreams, my favorite subgenre of rock in roll, this band is one of the best in the style, guitar solo and incredible music. 🇧🇷🤘
This was a Kick Ass band. I rock their shit to this day.
2023..Derek still my fave vocals..one of a kind!!!
I keep saying it.....I'm going to build a time machine and fly back to the 80's with my hair on fire and my dusty 6 six string on my back and live it again and again.....
I want in or I'll be forced to report you for unkindness lol
@@stacylarge5636 I'm with you. Lets report him if he doesn't bring us lol
Two words describe this song and this band.....BAD ASS!!!!
this is 1 of my most favorite 80 songs there is lets keep the good stuff and forget all the hip-hop pop era bring back the metal years
These guys, much like Lillian Axe, Leatherwolf and Hardline were heavily underrated.
Grunge killed their music carrier
Damn the Record companies for going all in on Grunge and backstabbing all the Glam bands they signed on. Not to mention Nirvana for taking over the prevailing ethos of Rock music, making it so that Rock had to be dour and depressing in order to be serious. Also, Metal Elitists for being assholes and over saturation.
Exactly the kind of bands I liked. The ones that were off the radar.
Correct you ARE sir. Throw Wildside - Under the Influence , in to that mix. Just a tad too late........
This one slipped past me some how in the 80's. Great jam! Thank god for Hair Nation!
still like this album all these years later, one of the better bands of the day.
If you have any rock in your body, this band will bring it to the fore-front!!! Great music presented in a masterful way!!! Love it!
Take me back to the 80's and leave me there great times :-D
I saw them live at Impaxx Buffalo NY. With Wildside and Roxy Blue. It was one wild night back in the early 90’s. Been a fan since I first heard the debut album and would love to see them live again.

I've been a big fan of B.A.D. since first hearing them back in the 80s!
I know a lot of people hate on hair metal but when you think about it it was a system which cultivated and harvested amazing rock tenors and guitarists at a very fast pace.

exact-f'n-ly
Rock on, all of you ^^ we'll get front row in the afterlife together
Merle Langlois FUCK all the haters. They weren't there, we were. Brilliant . One of the best bands at the time. Steve
Yes, it did, and I miss those days...
Amazing party song!!
One of the best debut albums of all time. This is up there with 'Appetite' in my book.
dont forget van halen 1
Also Skid Row imo
Nid Cheriyan Didn’t skid row make the first metal album to go number 1 or something
@@idonteperfect6943 actually it was Quiet Riot's Metal Health But Skid Row's Slave to the grind also Debuted at no.1.
Wow I'll have to dig it out and give it another try. Bought it on release and found it mediocre.
catchy and heavy! long live glam metal \m/
Fuck yeah, man! Can't go wrong with Babylon A.D. !! \m/ \m/
true Rosario
There has not been a cooler depiction of sex in a song in my opinion.
This music is what makes me proud to have long hair and play rockin' guitar.
What a kickass song by these guys. They had the total package, from the look, tone, musicianship and compositions. They should've been way bigger. Now I have a page to bring these bands back to life. This song rocks!
Why weren’t these guys on MTV..be still my heart!
Intro riff one of the greatest of all time!
These guys are rocking. Like Spread Eagle, you have talented musicians with the looks that just come along a tad bit late.
This is a kick ass song; 80's metal rules!
I have this on tape and I like listening it while driving the open high way, reving up in my old car :p
very good band, should been bigger
Just turned my 18yr old musician nephew on to some hair bands today, this one in particular. He loved it
I can't wait!
Loved this band! Such an underrated group. Had this album on cassette back in the day. I remember I ran out of gas listening to it in my first car (shitty Mustang), after taking it to school illegally "without mom knowing." Lol!
I was pulled-over for speeding while listening to this. This record was just made for punching the accelerator.
Still listen to this album quite often. I bought this albums Tab book when it came out and learned every song on guitar. Still some of my more fun songs to play..They have a new album coming out in Sept.. stoked!

A rock classic! Met singer Derek Davis in 2015 out here in Vegas when he performed as a Sin City Sinners guest. He's still got it!

these guys are awesome in person,
they should have given this to a producer with balls -- who was ready to mix this to 10x the power -- just bring in the wall of sound-- such a good song -- nice job guys
Too bad Mutt Lange didn't produce albums for a lot of the bands out of the 80's, definitely THE record producer back in the day!
There were loads of hair bands that were awesome that arrived before grunge came along like Danger Danger, Skid Row..
