The magnets arrays are polar opposites configuration Apple has (S) pole exposed on charger, while Samsung is configured with (N) pole exposed on its charger. So the (S) pole on the Samsung Watch would repel the (S) pole on the Apple watch charger.
If you have lost your Galaxy Watch charger then use your Galaxy S23 phone to charge it. It might work using other Galaxy phones, not sure. On your phone search in settings for Wireless Power Sharing. Turn it on then simply lay your Galaxy Watch across the back of your phone. Job done!!
