For me it came years later, just discovered this album recently and its still blowing me away. I need it more now than when I was younger so its perfect timing. And it introduced me to the genius of Alain Johannes as well. He produced it, cowrote with his late wife Natasha and brought out the absolute best in Chris. Recorded in Alain's home as well. Great artistic freedom all around.

I was born in the late nineties, so by the time I was a teenager Chris Cornell was already a superstar, but I didn’t really pay much attention to that kind of music until I matured into a young adult. Being in my mid twenties now, having battled my own bouts of depression & epochs of love & disaster & tragedy & triumph I relate more to the music of Chris Cornell than most anything else on this planet. God bless his soul, his family & the music.
I feel fortunate for the 24 years I was a hardcore fan and even though I never took it for granted it doesn't hurt less. It's comforting though to know there are a lot of us. This shows what a great guy he was just as a personality

Not really, the studio version is tuned a whole step down, that's why it sounds different, but that's it. But he also plays this part that I believe it's from another song but I have no idea of what song it is
