    "We're Spandau Bellet, who the fuck are you?" Love it. Hilarious...in an arrogant sort of way.

    DD wiped the floor with SB.

      SB had a singer with real talent.

    • @lament77
      @lament77 Před rokem +1

      Or did they? I like both, but there was always a level of credibility and overall musicianship a notch above DD. I think many agree whether they like to admit it.

    • @j.schermer3523
      @j.schermer3523 Před rokem +1

      @@lament77 DD was more commercial. They knew better how to make their way in America. But you have to agree that when it comes down to singing, Simon LeBon was (and is) not a patch on Tony Hadley.

    • @wobby1268
      @wobby1268 Před rokem

      If by that you mean they (inexplicably) had more chart success than Spandau (especially in America), then yes. if you mean they were more talented than Spandau or made better music than they did, you're delusional.

      @@wobby1268 That‘s not what I meant at all. Always been a Spandau fan! Only a few DD songs I like.

    And ffw to 2023: they hate each other and will likely never reunite.
