I'm 29 now, and listening to this is like stepping into a time machine. It's incredible. It reminds me of everything we lost. It makes me think of how bland modern music is. this is closer to being played on classic rock stations now, more than mainstream rock. Just remember, your parents probably thought the same for a band like Led Zepplin or Aerosmith when our parents were in their 30s.
Damn I'm 36 already... Call me old fart, but this was a period when mainstream music was actually good. I mean, just compare this (along with Linking Park, System Of A Down, Disturbed...) to what passes for music these days... And during this period I was mostly into punk and metal, but over time I learned to appreciate this.
How many times did we hear our previous generation say the same about the music they grew up with and saying the same about what music we were into. Today's generation will be saying the same when they're in their late 20's/early 30's. Make every day count dude
My niece is 2 and loves music. I introduced her to Hoobastank and now she asks all the time to listen to "Hoopystink". I'm glad I can share them with her. She may call you Hoopystink, but she loves you and that's what matters. ❤
I will never get bored of this song. I’m serious there’s such a low percentage of songs that you could call perfect. But this is one of them. From the beautiful guitar strings, to the lyrics, and the chorus.
It's so cool to jump on the tube and come across songs from when I was 16 and younger. I'm 34 now and talk about some memory floods of the good ole days
September 2001, the Tabernacle, Atlanta. My first solo concert to see Incubus live. Hoobastank opened and I was blown away. Underrated band to this day and this song killed live.

Help me carry on
Assure me it's ok to
Use my heart and not my eyes
To navigate the darkness
Will the ending be
Ever coming suddenly?
Will I ever get to see
The ending to my story?
Show me what it's for
Make me understand it
I've been crawling in the dark
Looking for the answer
Is there something more
Than what I've been handed?
ITS 2023 AND ROCK THESE DAYS DOESNT COMPARE TO THE 2000S ROCK RELM. GEN Y ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROCK ON
Man those were the days burning cds and sharing awesome music with friends
it's 2023 I can't believe I'm here listening to this!! lol They just don't make music like the early 2000s!!!
This is one of thos songs that are so ingrained to my childhood that ik every word to it no matter how many years it is inbetween hearing it again
Топ музыка, всем добра и привет✋👋 из Костромы Россия!!!!
Why is music like this not mainstream anymore.
Because we're not the mainstream anymore. We getting old bro.
this is closer to being played on classic rock stations now, more than mainstream rock. Just remember, your parents probably thought the same for a band like Led Zepplin or Aerosmith when our parents were in their 30s.
Rock music isn't mainstream since 10's. It's about hip hop, trap and shit like that
Same Thing I'm Asking Man Things Changed Badly💔
This was never mainstream 😅
The greatest Mountain Dew commercial ever!!!
Damn high school was a great time!!! Class of 06 baybehhhh hahaha
Shit. I'm 42. Metal head. Heard this a long time ago. I like it still. I enjoy it and not gonna apologize for it
same age... cheers ~~
How many times did we hear our previous generation say the same about the music they grew up with and saying the same about what music we were into. Today's generation will be saying the same when they're in their late 20's/early 30's.
Make every day count dude
Now only rNb stuff around. Good old days when almost every movie soundtrack had rock music!
I listen a skylit drive they form Lodi California their like those metal hardcore post
MAN THIS IS THE MUSIC i WILL ALLWAYS LOVE until the freaking day I die!!!!
I used to watch MTV after school I feel old....let's meet up 2024
My niece is 2 and loves music.
It just sounds so damn cool!
@@Vilgotczky it literally sounds like 2001
in a good way
Needs a propper guitar solo, but its a banger for sure.
Lyrics especially
Remember when CD’s was a thing.....
Every time I hear this song It takes back to my memories of early 2000s and I’m in my 99 civic SI with the Honda club. The good old days!
At 4 years old big brother introduced me to this type of music. I'm now 25 and still loving every bit! Lyrics hit so hard now n' days!
Please God bring the Early 2000's back
Damn, ii wish these kind of musics become popular again.
Perfect mix of pop punk and nu metal. just like what Sum 41 does.
20 years ago.. we are all old.. wtf.. this aged well
It's so cool to jump on the tube and come across songs from when I was 16 and younger. I'm 34 now and talk about some memory floods of the good ole days
September 2001, the Tabernacle, Atlanta. My first solo concert to see Incubus live. Hoobastank opened and I was blown away. Underrated band to this day and this song killed live.
September 2001. Damn.

Born in 1993 so 1999-2010 was my adolescent childhood…….nothing like early 2000s music, rap, rock, country the 2000s had it all and in good taste lol thank god I saw that Mountain Dew commercial……if you know you know
