…..it’s good that enough of us got the vaccine that those who didn’t want it didn’t have to. That’s fair enough, I have no issue with that and in small rural communities the virus wasn’t such a big deal as it was in the more populated areas. There will be a virus eventually that kills 30-40% of those who get it and many of the smug self righteous ones will be pretty quick to queue up. I respect those who chose not to but I don’t appreciate it when they think they’re special because of it. My family is from Karamea, I’m a medical professional essentially specializing in breathing, these days working with a lot of people whose lungs are damaged from Covid, many of whom got the virus prior to the vaccines being available. Just my thoughts
I bet Karamea's death rate isn't 18 percent above normal.

@@alistermacpherson7120 According to a paper that I read on statsnz, deaths would increase by about 1.5% year on year until the mid 2030's when it would drop as the boomer generation will have passed on.
4.5-5% is not 16-30+ percent

That's easy to answer when we consider studies show that the vaccine did more harm than good. Papua New Guinea has 4% of its population jabbed and despite the doom mongers, they have less excess deaths per 100, 000 than NZ and covid cases there are at an end whilst they still continue in NZ. Well done to those who chose to not take an rushed experimental novel therapy that was only provisionally approved by Medsafe.

Not one unvaxed person I know regrets their choice, while a good 80% who did, wish they hadn’t. The 20% who stridently cling to their decision, in the face of all the negative data that’s been accruing, are unsurprisingly also the most unlikeable of humans.

Thanks tvNZ - the 06/12/21 Westport newspaper stated that thanks to your unbalanced reporting a letter has come through the Karamea Information Centre from a group saying they would be spending their money elsewhere. Why no photo of the newly built 4 shop complex right next to the cafe ?
As of 05/12/21 73.1% of Australians are fully vaccinated and 59.47% of U.S.A citizens are fully vaccinated. If we believe our govt stats New Zealanders appear very obedient.

I see this as a win-win situation. The people who want to remain unvaccinated are keeping their freedom or whatever it is they imagine they are keeping, and those who choose to be vaccinated can feel more comfortable with the fact that they are keeping themselves and their whanau safe from a virus that has killed over five million people worldwide.

I realized early on that there was something seriously wrong with the recent pandemic. The main reason is that the work is not scientific.
When a Prime minister announces "We will continue to be your single source of truth" Then I see this as a denial and mockery of the scientific principle.
And there are many other reasons...
I will spend no time to try convince you with my thinking, because I think you have made up your mind on this, by having truly researched this topic and not only listen to the experts on the News. The real mission of science is to cast doubt on experts.
And there are hundreds of Doctors, Professors and Scientists who doubt and disprove these recent "pandemic experts". But they are censored, attacked and even prevented from practising, is that scientific?
And I think on any medical intervention on your body, you should be able to make an informed decision without being excluded from society.
If the freedom to say NO is taken from you, then you are a slave.
I have 2 reasons not to take this Injection.
One is I made an informed decision.
The second and most important is:
I never will let someone force any medical intervention, or anything else on to me, in order to gain a (false) freedom, that you can go for work, in a Restaurant, travel, go shopping and so on.
The real freedom is the freedom to say NO, I am the King in my Kingdom and NO one else. I'll never succumb to anything forced, I could not look any more in to my face, I would feel like a Prostitute.
And this circumstance ( no vaccine no Job and so on ) also shows me that something is very fishy about the whole story....
