This is why I love ballet, no matter what your ability or age we can all love it and excel. Just about to get my first (again) pair of pointe shoes at the age of 43 after giving up dance 25 years ago and taking it up again 9 months ago. Go ballerinas!
Awesome caroline💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
That's awesome. I am sorry you have been away for a lengthy time, but the important thing is you are able to return. You go girl! And you do the best you can and will do. 👍👍😀🌹
that's amazing!
That is one incredible brave young woman in the dark red ballet costume! Bravo to you!! Keep following your heart!
i could watch her all day
She's an inspiration to me for sure.
all day ? hem ! me not so much
Condescending. Jesus. She's just dancing.
Very patronizing comment... don’t break your arm patting yourself on the back.
Fantastic, Love it! Awesome work. Wish more studios would offer adult ballet classes. 98% of them (in my area) are aimed at the kids or competitions. There are many older adults (40's-plus) who would like to take class just for fun or exercise.
taurusgemini05 This may be shot in the dark, but have you tried going through your local park district? They may offer some adult classes.
Wonderful, ladies! 💐
Love seeing adult ballet beginners... go class!
I wanna start ballet it looks so relaxing yet challenging, keep up the good work 😊
BEST STUDIO EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never see any guys in these classes , best thing I've ever done 👍
This is why i started up Ballet Emz as everyone if they want should be able to take part in ballet and I openly encourage people to start adult Ballet. Keep up your hardwork XX
Great teacher
Bravo to all these young ladies!
This is some next level ballet right here
Hold up....I DONT HAVE TO BE THIN TO DO BALLET?!?!
Ok so I'm 21 and lately I've wbated to try taking an adult ballet class. Now don't get me wrong I have no illusion I'll never be a pro starting this late and at my weight. But I thought I'd have to lose a ton of weight before even STARTING a class. This girl is giving me such inspiration
No you don't have to be thin. I've danced my entire life and was only ballet thin at my peak in my teen years and early twenties. I hope to loose some because it interferes with how quickly and precisely I can move, but my other job is a cook/housewife so it can be a struggle finding the time and energy to care for myself. I encourage you to take that class! You're not going to know til you try and won't get where you want to be unless you get up and do it!
I’m thinking about starting ballet I never really thought it would be my thing but it looks very relaxing but elegant I’m already a tap dancer and it’s very different but maybe I should look into starting ballet
Big girl KILLIN if you go girl YASSSS
MUSICK_SKELE why is necessary to specifically call her out?
Cara Crawford yes! it's very inspiring. I was gonna say the same thing. because WE don't associate being overweight with shamefulness. sorry your thinking stinks.
MUSICK_SKELE Look at the skinny girl next to her, she's failing bad unlike our big girl who is like killing it!
Oviparous Egg good for you showing your vast vocabulary. You don't have to tear us down because we are trying to tell someone they did a good job. And the girl I was talking about was the girl in the pink
They all suck, are you happy now???
Fantastic. They are all beautiful to me!
awesome work!!
I love it! Most of all any age any size you can dance.
Please come to Downtown Detroit! I'm an adult ballet (er) who wants to dance again. I love this.
So, beginning ballet teaches you choreography along with learning the techniques and the positions and warm ups, correct?
I am a male and will be taking Ballet at a college soon.
This is much too difficult for beginners. It's possible to choreograph much nicer routines that are far more achievable. You want your dancers to FEEL graceful - not of of their depth
Yes.... pivots are a very advanced step. They’ve done incredibly well to pivot on one leg. Certainly not something you’d give a beginner.
Usually “adult beginner” does not refer to the level the students are at, but to the fact that they began as adults or in the case of adults that danced as children, but took a long hiatus, they are beginning again as adults.
How beautiful! Women of all different shapes and sizes, it's wonderful! The one in the red is my inspiration!
where is this studio.????
when youre a ballet guru and notice the girls drawstring.....
Kirstyn Witt I don’t think she can see her feet lmao
@@headphonic8 of course she can. Don’t be an asshole, it’s a terrible way to go through life.
