- So Temu is EVERYWHERE right now and you might be wondering if their 'invite their friend' deal is actually a scam or not? I was pretty skeptical since I was getting over $140+ worth of free stuff (too good to be true right?) so I decided to man up and do it and 2 weeks later I got a package.
In this video, I unbox it to see if I got what I ordered for FREE. FYI - I invited around 8 friends to get this.

I personally know someone who won an expensive item lol they didn't believe it and thought it was a scam. A package came to their house out of no where 😂 they were actually shocked when they opened it.

It's a scam. The people that you've sent the invite to, have to purchase stuff after they download the ap, first off. And they keep bs-ing about getting closer to the 10 free. You think you've done it and then it's like...your nearly there, get more friends to download the app blah blah. . If you pester enough of your friends and they buy stuff, maybe it works. But who wants to do that.
If you keep clicking copy link or copy code in the rewards place you might get one redeemed

Looks like it is legit, but you will be able to get the gifts if you share it more than 100 contacts, lol, and they do their part if not you loose. 1 in 100 the chance, a waste of time. So it is like a lottery, similar to a spam.
When you put the camera down we don't see you opening the same box you don't know if it's the same box and that's what I'm wondering right there

Guys this is real. I also got a motorbike jacket, and other 4 items for free. It only took 9 invites. Please note, those people must register in order to get your price and it only takes less than 10 seconds to register.

I'd move first - it took around 2 - 3 weeks for me

Depends where you are but for me it took around 2 - 3 weeks

I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a complete scam but it can sometimes be a waste of time if u have no friends. When I did it a while ago they offered me like 7 gifts and after almost an hour of trying to win them I only won one and the only reason why I even won is bc Temu just decided to let me have it as a way to make me feel “motivated” to keep referring to a friend I never actually won the rest but I did win one at least

I stopped inviting people. I picked 5 but they added a 6th. The money was cut to $4.00 and since then I've invited over 20 people but that's still not enough to cut the $4.00

I didn’t get free gifts, but I ordered from Temu a lot I got everything without any problems, return process is easy. I get my refund back without any issues .

I've not been charged yet...? If you're scared, deactivate your accout when you get your gifts :)
what do i do if temu charges me? if they promised evry itme was free after cut and free shipping no charge.
They won't charge you for cutting the price they will just put a sticker saying in shipment and give you a date when it will arive
I never added my payment details down when I did this in case something dodgy like this happened

How many people did you have to invite tho?
So I've done it twice now:
1. Free Gifts (The Polaroid and a lamp) - around $140 in value - I'd say around 8 people +
2. $100 credit - around 7-8 people? (some of which had to be new users)
I heard the 'bigger' of a reward you choose, the more people you have to invite. Temu sets it up to 'deceive' you - basically give you a larger reward for the first person you invite that gets incrementally smaller so you get roped in. You also only have 24 hours to do it.
@@RichardFangLiu yeah i actually got my first 5 free gifts but it took like 9 people. lol but to get more like 10 15 20 more for the others dought that lol to many people think its a scam when you post it it looks scammy LOL then you have to tell them it isnt so its kinda waste of time in a way but the free stuff is cool

It's a cycle - they just sign up and they can feel free to use it or you can simply get them to delete it. Some of my friends just deleted the app afterwards.
