Unfortunately, the appalling treatment of the Yazidis stems only too clearly from Islamic theology, as practiced by Mohammed (whether he was one man who truly existed or was some kind of composite of various people living at the time) and his followers in the 7th century. How anyone can believe that the loving Creator of us all who gave us the wonderful gift of life would sanction rape and torture is simply evil in the extreme, but that is the motivating force behind ISIS and all fundamentalist Islamic terrorism: believing they are doing the will of the Creator and will go to heaven for killing, torturing or at best humiliating and subduing other human beings who do not share their beliefs. I don't doubt that there are many good people who are Muslims despite some of the medieval and barbaric teachings contained in the Quran and Hadith. And of course there are many good people who are Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, humanists etc. etc. However, Islam needs to be reformed - by Muslims - and until and unless it is, terrorism, barbarism, also anti-Semitism, anti-freedom and democracy (the desire of fundamentalist Muslims is to spread an oppressive caliphate over the whole world) in the name of Allah will sadly continue.

Sure, he's a Christian and accordingly believes that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for his sins and that you have to believe in Christian theology in order to be able to have a relationship with G-d, but all the research he and others including Dan Gibson have done into the origins of Islam is based on what the historical evidence ie coins, 7th century accounts, qibla directions of all ancient mosques towards Petra for 100 years after Mohammed is supposed to have died etc, actually shows. Truly sad that this never made its way into the Quran. May G-d lead you clearly in the path that He wants you to take.
I see ur idea but not all Muslims agree with what their doing. As a Shia muslims I find this sickening and the ironic part is the people who their killing with the yazidis are the Shias (them being the 2 main minorities.). I REALLY disagree with what there doing to innocent people and I am happy that this woman is helping them and I pray that she will stay safe and be able to practice her religion and help others.
