what is the reasoning behind her coughing each time she opens the door? is it to mask the noise of it opening to take her mums meds or coz of her ocd idk?
A bit late- but since her mom knows that she takes drugs and most likely knows where the drugs are she has to hide the sound of her opening the cabinet.

@@Kartostrophic I don't think so, those scenes were during telling the story of her growing up with all those mental illnesses and having to take meds which led to her having an addiction, those were before everything happened and during an anxiety attack when she ran out of breath and she needed her meds to feel fine again
@@user-ke4hi2el5k but rue said “hey mom do u have any tampons” and her mom said yes in the bottem cabinet or somthing but she never got a tampon she got drugs and then it showed other times of her coughing and getting drugs?
