Guinness world record largest crocodile in the world is in the Philippines before and they named it Lolong. It was captured last September 2011. It measured 20 feet long and weighed 1075 kilos.

If you visit cebu again, try to consider visiting Safari in Carmen Cebu, they have a lot of animals there.
The crocodile statue you saw was replica of crocodile Lolong was the largest crocodile in captivity. He was a saltwater crocodile measured at 6.17 m, and weighed 1,075 kg, making him one of the largest crocodiles ever measured from snout-to-tail.

A lot of Koreans also here doin restaurant Business, buffet 52 in Torres street is very delicious.
We do have many parks here in Davao City, the popular one is the People's Park.
Go to Island Garden City of Samal too this is already part of Davao Del Norte, beautiful beaches.

Also, the biggest crocodile in the world called "Lolong" is found here in PH. It's also feature in the drama series show.
Philippine Eagle is the national bird of the Philippines. However, they are already endangered specy and mostly seen in Mindanao especially in Davao region. That's why there's the Philippine Eagle Center in Davao to protect them from extinction...

There are some other animals and other types bird and Eagles there in Malagos. This is the place of sanctuary for these beautiful giant bird. It is for the survival of these endangered species. Philippine Eagle is the second largest Eagle in the world. Ask more information about it.

Too bad it took you 8 hours to reach Davao from CDO. You took the long route. There's a shorter route that will cut your travel time to 6 hours only. You should have taken that route.
