His treatment at the hands of US govt officials was disgusting and an embarrassment to the nation. Especially given that his abusers knew all along that he was innocent. They still played this innocent man for a pawn. There was no need to torture or abuse him ..they could have detained him and set him free so he could go back to his family and get on with his life

same happened with my cousin he was kept in same condition in abu dhabi and was arressted in fake allegations from sharjah and was tortured badly for 3 months he came back but many of our Pakistani are still stuck there and there is no news either they are alive or they died
