You all quit taking Grandpa's pants!! LOL I went to my local grocery store and found the fresh horseradish root that they sometimes carry. It took me a while but I found the video of Grandpa telling us how he made the fresh horseradish. Well I followed what he said to do and BOOM, the fresh horseradish is amazing and I will never buy the prepared in the jar again! Tell him 'thank you" for sharing that with us cause the fresh taste is truly amazing! God bless you all !!

I randomly landed on one of your videos a few days ago and have been binge watching ever since. Your videos are both entertaining and educational, especially for those of us who know nothing about growing our own food and I am definitely one of those people! Your Grammy reminds me so much of my late paternal Grandmother. She grew up on a farm and married my step Grandfather later in life. He was a big dairy farmer and every day my Grandmother would have multiple course lunches and dinners ready. Nearly all was made from scratch. She was an incredible baker too like your Grandmother.

You have to remember, they have a Large farm.
From what I am hearing watching Weather Channel, farmers in the farm belt, Runs from Minnesota to Oklahoma mostly farm land many grain growers crops being turned under. These farmers rely on Rain, probably can't afford irrigation drip systems.
Climate change an La Nina causing problems all over world.
Then Beef farmers sells off half their herds, no Rain no Grass.
      Just in United States.
Would be nice if other countries can produce more.

I love this time of year at our farmer's market. The bushel baskets all lined up filled with gold from the fields to purchase for canning and freezing. Hauling those bushel baskets home is a yearly treat. I look forward to the work. Tomato sauce, cowboy candy, pickled cauliflower, bread and butter pickles, canned eggplant, peppers, zucchini relish, and so on.... And so grateful a farmer was there to grow it!
