I'm a foster Mom and have been for over 20yrs and over 200 kids.but the best video I ever seen was your first phone call I could watch that over n over again I pray you video the next one and I pray it is soon. You two are amazing parents. Bless both of you.
My fear is having a child that is obviously not mine freaking out and saying "You're not my mommy, I want my mommy!" and someone thinking I'm kidnapping a child.
Yeah, someone may think that. Can’t control what others think 🤷♀️ You can confirm with the child calmly, “that’s right, I’m not your mommy. I’m your foster mommy and I’m going to take care of you right now while your mom works on some things. Aww, I know you miss your mom. Can I give you a hug?” But if law enforcement got involved, it’s super easy to show the placement letter and your foster care license and give the caseworkers info if needed for the officers to confirm that you are the foster parent ❤️
