This episode really does a great job displaying Ichigo’s wrath. From the cold anger he was feeling after his talk with Byakuya to this where his Spiritual Pressure goes through the roof.
That episode 7 was peak fiction was part of my plan.

@@TheBigExclusive remember this isn't a full power Ichigo, the guy had just exhausted his spiritual pressure trying to get out of the jail and took a bunch of damage from his own attacks. He was probably dead tired by the time he fought Yhwach yet at this point Ichigo could have probably ran through all the Sterns on EZ except for Hashwalth.

The entire episode went way, WAY harder than it had too, but it delivered for the fans who waited the whole time for the Blood War.

Bleach TYBW is simply amazing, sitting on my toes until every Monday when the next episode launches. Every new episode just rides the waive of the last one and it just gets better and better. The additions they made to Ichigo vs Yhwach is just what I dreamed of ever since I read the manga for the first time. Always felt like this was missing, a proper confrontation between them. And this battle is just breathtaking, the music, the feeling and animation is just top notch! Have watched it over and over again, simply can't stop. Thank you so much for making this continuation of a wonderful manga, bleach creators!

It may have only been for a moment, but when I saw the Red and Black aura Ichigo gave out, I was jumping with joy because it felt like the original anime when he went Bankai. I always loved that aura.

This episode and the one before it have some of the best fight scene animation I’ve ever seen in an anime. Definitely two of the best back to back Bleach episodes of all time.

@@A-RedHerring Ichigo was completely exhausted and already damaged from fighting Quilge and breaking out of the prison that Quilge put him in while Soul Society was being destroyed. Yhwach even asks him before they fight if Ichigo really wants to fight him while already that exhausted and bruised.

To see his power exploded like that and the pure anger he have in his eyes was so well done. It was one of my favorite parts of this scene. You can tell no f’s was given and the only thing on his mind was destroying yawich
The combat speed in bleach is far above the other two in the big three but people are still out here having Naruto vs Ichigo debates 🤦🏾♂️

This season has been going so hard. One of my favorite fights of the year.
Bleach finally get the animations quality we all waited for, and it didn’t disapointed us.
Keep in mind that during this fight, Ichigo is actually drained compared to Yhwach, who didn't fight anyone nor use any excess energy on other matters. I do question how the first encounter would've went if Ichigo didn't use so much energy to escape the cage.
There's a reason Ywhach considers him one of the Five War Powers.
In addition, even if he was in top condition in this encounter, he'd still only using a _fragment_ of his true power, as we will see later. Dude is STRONK.
He most likely still get washed and probably end up in the Wandenreich.
Because him not being cut and bleeding imies that he never got put into the jail which would mean that his blut would have never saved him from getting his neck chopped.
@@A-RedHerring Probably but don't forget that Ichigo still has his Hollow-Side and it clearly saved him before against Kenpachi.
@@A-RedHerring I'm sure white would've taken over if that happened. He did when Ichigo lost his entire chest before so it's not that unlikely. Would've been interesting to see how their attitudes change toward the fight when he would've had hollow reishi that's venomous to quincies
Anime moment of 2022
I'm constantly blown away every time i watch this scene. it's so beautifully shot and animated that I can't believe it's not a film that's been adapted to a weekly schedule.
I’d love it if the entire start of the arc all the way up to the end of the invasion was put together as a movie.

Not gonna lie. I'm impressed with Ichigo. Dude was exhausted from the Jail and was still able to somewhat keep up with Yhwach. Though I imagine Yhwach was barely trying. Wonder how this fight would have went if it was Ichigo with his true zanpakutou.

For me this felt like Ichigo was truly at a mature power level. Every arc before at the beginning he was sort of that punk kid who just overestimated himself and then had to rise to the occasion. But now that he has grown along side the audience it feels like he was justified in thinking he could beat this guy. Maybe it's because there was so much time between the original anime and this but it feels different.
YOOOOO the rain collecting and then getting cut on tensa zangentsu us such a nice touch. Never noticed that and I've seen this episode 3 times now.

The best part of this fight is how Ichigo was on the defensive the entire fight, but not entirely being overpowered.
