FANTASTIC MATERIAL ♥️👏
Why not start Amazon FBA?
Marinara sauce is my personal favorite because it tastes better than pasta sauce or pizza sauce
A great way to stretch that budget!
Buy a bag of rice (1.25)
a bag of dry pinto beans (1.25)
A bag of frozen peppers & onions (chop up small) (1.25)
a pack of tortillas (1.25)
a pack of sausages (1.25)
A block of the real cheese (1.25)
Sausage, rice, half the peppers/onions for rice bowls (throw some beans in there because there will be plenty)
Beans, other half of the peppers/onions
and shred the cheese, tortillas- make bean and cheese burritos
7.50 for lunch and dinner
Pancake mix (could be made into waffles with a waffle maker) and frozen berries or chocolate chips (called chunks at DT)
2.50 for breakfast
If you are using pantry staples- a little oil, garlic powder, onion powder and hot sauce would go a long way here.
You should nake a channel. Rhis was a great idea.
Yes cause that way the food would be healthier and not so overly processed.
This is a really smart distribution of ingredients, and nutritious enough to get you through the week.
Thank you
With the meatballs... you wouldn't just cook the meatballs... you would cook them and then you mince them up like ground beef and add them to the sauce.... so you wouldn't just have ONE meatball a day staring at you from the top of spaghetti.
Exactly what I was thinking
Exactly!
The meatball that was staring at me winked at me the other day. Kinda freaked me out.
Assuming they have onions and garlic from maybe an another meal. 🤷🏾♀️cook those meatballs and add in sauce
I used to layer the lasagna noodles with the frozen mixed veggies and slice cheese. Makes a huge pan for pennies. I could eat lunch and dinner from it for 3 days. I love your vids, brightens my day while I endure the economic struggle. Much love. 🙏
Get the frozen vegs. , lasagna noodles and a jar of alfredo sauce if they have it and make Veg. Lasagna. It is so good.
Thanks I'm gonna try this
I'd love to see you try this at Walmart sometime, too! Your $10 challenges are my favorite!!!
Girl, I feel ya on the cheese doodles! Those would be gone in a couple of days, and I'd be like "who ate my cheese doodles?" 😆🤣
With inflation I would make it $15. Dollar Tree- sausage, Prego Alfredo sauce, pasta; pancake mix (also for waffles, craps) syrup, rice, mayo Aldi - 2 cans of tuna, can of carrots and green beans, pack of gravy, roll of ground turkey, 2 bananaa. Pantry staple flour, yeast, cinnamon and dehydrated onions. Family of 3. 1 Sausage and carrots Alfredo half of pasta, Turkey Salisbury steak with rice, gravy and green beans, Tuna pasta salad or tuna casserole, 1/2 banana cinnamon waffles, homemade bagels and bread. If I had another $1.25 oatmeal.
Don’t forget the food pantry drive through first where you get potatoes, onions, pasta sauce , Mac and cheese, green beans, carrots sometimes, peanut butter, canned fruit, bread and tuna and rice. $10 on meats, syrup, weiners , pancake mix, milk, oatmeal or grits or cereal, sausage . Stuffed weiners mashed potatoes cover an opened sliced weiners covered with shredded cheese. Tuna options tuna salad, sandwich or casserole. Put all these ideas together Bougie it is. Spam sliced and battered and fried chicken fried spam add gravy.
This gave me so much confidence that I can still have a good meal on a tight budget. Thank you, you have brought me peace of mind and have made realize there's so much you can do if you just open up your mind to new ideas
I don't think it's healthy but sure in a money crisis it's possible to survive. 😁👍
@@findpurpose6300 nothing is really healthy these days. Not even your "organic" "non gmo" kale.
If you haven’t already found her, dollar tree dinners make great meals on a budget!!
This video is so timely especially with the rising cost of everything. Thanks! 👍 You girls did a great job!
🙏🏽😊
Back in my day everything at Dollar Tree used to be a $1.00, now it's a $1.25
I just went to the market & spent $51 on 16 items. I got two big packs of chicken , milk, eggs , bread, bananas, strawberries, fries, Pringles for Sonny, Icecream for hubby birthday today, ground beef ,hot dog rolls. I still need some stuff so this video is perfect. Family of 5.Thanks Erica. And I used a $10 coupon
Happy Birthday to your Husband! 🎉🎉
Have a great day and happy bday to your hubby
@@onecutecouponer Thanks 😀
@@liliknowsbest2.037 You too, Thank you.
You all are very kind people on here. Erica you are beautiful in and out
How funny this came up right now. I just got back from Kroger and realized I could definitely live with a $10 weekly ood budget, absolutely. There are still great specials available at the big chain grocery stores even in this time of extreme inflation.
Yes! I’ve been taking advance of BOGO sales & using digital coupons more & more at my local grocery store.
I completely agree with you! I spend very little when I hit the sales at Kroger! 😊
@@Melissa-no5ox Do you stuck up on the discounted Manager Special items? That's where the real deals are. Meats, bakery items, prepared veggies, etc. You're guaranteed to find bargains worth buying each visit to Kroger.
Ohh you got a shot of the milk on the last shelf! I buy their milk as backup for whenever we run out of our regular gallon. With a cereal box that could also last an entire week. I loved this challenge! Makes me want to experiment myself to try and save up some money in this declining economy!
OMG! @ 3:24 I just saw on the jar of pasta sauce you had, it said "100% olive oil" It also said, no high fructose corn syrup, no added sugar, grown by California tomatoes, reduced sodium, and all natural flavors, That's probably why it looked so fancy. lol. I'd certainly buy it!
I’m so glad you put back the shredded cheese. It’s not real cheese and it doesn’t melt
I always say if it comes down to it… dollar tree will feed me and my kids. They have the staples like rice, pasta, sauce and seasonings. Great video!! 🤩👍🏼👍🏼
Yes! 👏🏾👏🏾 #smartmama
As soon as you guys walked in there I was thinking grilled cheese so happy you guys chose the grilled cheese sandwiches. I was also thinking about corn muffin mix with the hot dogs like a corn dog for lunch.
I was thinking the same thing with the corn bread mix and hot dogs
Since it's $1.25 now, up your budget to $12.50. Get the Rice over pasta, for your base, better for your money, can eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner,
That store is so well stocked, I'm in Jacksonville and I haven't found one like this.
This one is on Park Ave in Orange Park. Not too far from you 😀
Put cheese on the hotdogs
Save some pancakes mix to make pigs in a blanket with the hotdogs
Make your own garlic bread with butter on side pasta
The hotdog with spaghetti is a Filipino favorite. So much so, it’s available at McDonalds and the local fast food place Jolly Bee! Great ideas and meals for $10! Btw, I’m happy Jolly Bee is becoming popular in the US! 🇵🇭 🇺🇸😁✌🏽
My grandma used to feed me spaghetti and hotdogs on the regular when I was a kid back in the 80's. I thought it was the norm.
I never had hotdogs with spaghetti. I’ve hear of people doing that.
How do you make spaghetti and hotdogs? It sounds worth a try!
This was the first time I encountered one of your videos, and it tickled me. You really have no clue just how challenging/daunting a task coming up with 21 servings of food can be until you are actually in the store with only $10 to spend. There are some excellent comments here. Can't wait to catch a few more of your videos and see what else you do.
if you took the bread and toasted some slices you could use a little of your sauce on top, add cheese on top and stick in the oven and you could have pizza. Better if you could add some oregano to the sauce and it will taste like pizza sauce.
Good job showing people how to survive during these difficult times in the world. I hope the right people are watching. Very beneficial info. Keep up the good work!
If you have tomato sauce at home. You can expand the sauce. Add some water, sugar and flour.
Ramon noodles 🍜 is still one of my go to. When I’m feeling eating some soup 🍲.
Add sliced weiners and butter, chef’s kiss.
Dollar tree is has always been my go to store. Yall did a super job on that challenge. Can't wait to see more Thanks Erica n Tiffany 💖 💖
Awesome job Erica and Tiffany. Thanks for your hard work beloved’s.
Be warned. Dollar Tree frozen fruits and vegetables are very bad quality. It seems they sit out for long periods of time, in a process of freezing and refreezing which makes them icy, freezer burnt and bland.
Yes i agree! I dont like their fruits n veggies🤢
Ive heard the same thing about the frozen fruits and vegetables from another channel!
There pastas are not that good either cheaper is not always good
I'd love to go food shopping with you two -Yes shopping and laughs = Priceless 👍😎🍴
That was really creative spending and meal planning. Thanks for sharing.
You two are so funny when you do the food challenges. I love it.
Love how you and Tiffany put the meals together.
looks so delicious 😋 you guys truly pulled it all off
Great job 👏
Dollar Tree really has some great grocery finds! I feel like everything at most stores has gone up more than 25 cents while at the same time dollar tree has stepped up their game a little bit since going up to $1.25.
I completely agree!
I love these videos, they are really helpful. Thank you!!
Great ideas and good fun! Keep up the good content!
Thank you so much for sharing this video, I liked how you went grocery shopping and went home and cooked the meals. Hands on video.
I hope someone will take this into consideration , what you did.
When a loved one or family member with not enough money or food, show them what they can buy, and show them video to watch.
Sometimes people just need you to show them what they can do. Everybody don’t know! Everybody share the video! We all got family that need to watch this.
Thank you for sharing! 💕💕💕
I was out all day and I've been waiting to watch this video since this morning. I'm glad you are doing food challenges again. I've been missing them.
Definitely gonna go to DT for the staples and stretch that food budget! Thanks for the video girls 🥰
U girls are funny. Good video for inexpensive meals though at times like this we need to do what we need to do thank you!
I could stay up all night watching these videos bet I'm going on my break at work you actually inspired me to make my own channel ❤️💯
You ladies picked some great choices for meals. I also buy frozen veggies, frozen fruit , or canned fruit and vegetables and eggs from DT to stretch my meals. I add the fruit to my cereal, oatmeal or pancakes for breakfast. I have fried egg sandwiches or hard boiled eggs and toast for lunch with any extra fruit. I add veggies to my dinners. My DT sells frozen Texas Toast . I love thatcwith spaghetti. Or use any extra bread to make cheese or garlic bread 🍞
Tiffany, love your hair 💖💜
Hmmm, what about a dozen eggs? You can make them scrambled or make egg salad..
Bulk bins are back at a lot of stores now and utilizing them for small amounts of nuts, beans, flours, lentils, etc. can add variety to the weeks meals while keeping costs down.
Thank you I m going to do it tomorrow these video willy help me and my family out alot
Loving these videos! I'm inspired to make my own. An idea for the leftover bread could be toasting it with some cheese and seasoning and making cheese texas toast. Please keep making these videos! I would love to see a $10 grocery challenge with Diajah
Love the ideas my kids love fried hot dogs with breakfast. My go to is cut up the sausage sauté with thee bag of mixed veggies serve with rice. And BAM rice bowls for a week. Then they have boxes of jambalaya plus the sausage. And it’s a lot of food.
All I can say is wow 🤩 wat Yall doin is amazing. Giving ppl hope!
LOVE the pan-fried hot dog idea for breakfast! super cool idea! Will try soon!
Hi, I think you did a great job on choosing Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner For Seven days at Dollar Tree thank you for sharing
You ladies Are Soo hilarious when you're shopping is going on . Thanks for sharing the 💵 🌴
I just Love it❤ when I'm low on money I will go there you can always mix-and-match what youhave at home great job 💕
I like this, because I’ve been wanting to scale way back on food. It’s just us two and my dog and our grocery bill is horrible! Thanks for the inspo, have a great week.

Also

Hey sisters! Thanks again for the video! 👍
Great job! Keep these videos coming
Thank you. Love this video. I’d like to see you do this at Walmart
I’m watching with my boys! They both love your ideas.
Great video that store is well-stocked Minds could never lol the only thing I suggest is that you give your true opinion on how the food taste that way no-one waste their money on buying it especially if that's all they can buy at the moment
🙋🏾♀️👏🏾Super job..you made it work...thanks for sharing...ky
You guys did an awesome job on the challenge 👏! 😊👍💕💕💕
Good choice on the pretzel for a snack. You could even put a little butter and garlic powder on the bread for the pasta. I’ve never had hotdogs in spaghetti. I just recently received both of those items. I’ll have to try that out.
Y'all did it again and everything looks good 😋
Thank you!
Love your videos I love these ideas they are great
Great Haul for $10! Love it!
Thanks so much!
You did a great job ladies!!!
When Erica says cheese is for rich people... but she's the rich people 🤭😂 Great options girls! Lol You can just ground the meatballs up to make it stretch
Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Looked yummy 😋. Bon appetite. Also, a slice of bread with butter and garlic.
You ladies did a great job with this challenge. I think this one is my favorite that has been done at DT so far.
When it comes to Dollar Tree meals I think cooking the dry pinto beans and making burritos is a good option. The bag of rice with the sausage you had originally with a veggie could probably stretch also for several servings. If Dollar Tree didn't have hot dogs I was thinking lentils in the pasta sauce would work as well.
I have seen people cut up the hot dogs and put the dry pasta thru them before cooking them. I've never tried it but I think for people with kids they might like something like that.
Looking forward to more of your great challenges.
Luv this content....and sister banter as well...Ottawa, Canada
Erica you sound like an infomercial when you going over the meals for the week😆! Great challenge!
Y'all did an awesome job 👍🏾
omg erica I'm in shock with this meals I love it thanks for the ideas
You're welcome
You and your sister did an awesome job👍
This post brought back memories of when I was working 2 jobs and going to night school to be a nurse (1993).....I would buy a bag of pasta/rice, 1 can/jar of pasta sauce, cheap meat, loaf of bread and a block of cheese every 2 weeks and this would be what my husband and I would eat! Watching the budget with high food costs now is a real issue in both the US and Canada. Your video content is very much a reality for those whom have limited funds...I no longer have to 'scrimp' on my groceries, but do pay it forward when I can....Great video
You could have gotten canned chicken for the quesadillas
We have a new one that opened up across my work I go literally every day I love it
I love when you do this type of challenge.
Hey Ladies! May I suggest next time you try a big box of rolled oats , syrup, and bananas. With those ingredients you can make baked breakfast cookies, pancakes, and cereal for the week.
Variety for the next week!
my dollar tree gets their bread delivery on Saturday. if you go on Saturday you can often get bagels, sandwich thins and lots of choice of bread.
I was so mad at Dollar tree for upping their prices but seeing the costs going up insanely even at Aldi's which was always my go to, I think I will be returning to Dollar tree very soon. Great video 🙂
I like dollar tree stores that are clean, well organized and have a variety of products
That's a unicorn
I watch these videos for fun. I'm very fortunate to have alot of farmers markets where I live. I can buy fresh fruit, veggies, potatos etc all organic for a very reasonable price. Plus it last for 2 weeks or more if I freeze it.
I really love this
I use the John Morell polska kielbasa with cans of sauerkraut & we get the Bar S hot dogs with cans of pork n beans with a bit of bbq sauce for beanie weenies, i buy the blueberry muffin mix and add in some frozen mixed berries and bake it in a loaf pan for berry bread.
This gave me an idea for my mom who lives in a grocery desert. Though she has a grocery store in town, prices are a bit high. Just this past year Family Dollar/Dollar Tree came in where our old Alco store was at. There is also a DG store as well. There are some things she like to get at Walmart though.
I'd browse all three if they are close but in my experience Dollar tree is the way to go. My pantry is chocked full of their pantry foods.
Ladies, I think you did a great job! I am currently down to $92 per mont for one person. These videos are very helpful.
Food tip they sell pinto beans, black beans, and refried beans at the dollar tree to add to the quesadillas. They sell the dry or canned. Also, they sell rice to make the meals stretch and more filling.
Y’all are crazy! Hehe I love it ! Y’all know what y’all doing
Awesome ladies 💖
I think you did overall really well. They have many different food options that you can make some actually really nice meals on a very tight budget. I might have done a little bit differently like I would have kept the tortillas and cheese and got a jar of salsa and had quesadillas with salsa for lunch. For dinner I would have stuck with the pasta and sauce but I would have gotten a can of canned chicken for a good amount of protein to add to the sauce. And definitely the pancakes and syrup can go a long way. Overall excellent job ladies.
Erica you and your sister are amazing.thank you my god 🙏🙏🙏 sent angels
Omg can’t wait to try this challenge ❤️
I just love you and your families goofieness!
plain or self rasing flour and greek yogurt equals pizza dough, wrap bread and even wheat chips add your own seasoning. You could make jaffels with the left over spaghetti and bread by putting the spaghetti in two slices of bread and then make toasted sandwiches.
My friend uses that pizza crust all the time to make homemade pizzas. They are so good!
Years ago, a good friend of mine, made some sausage, she sautéed it, then she made the spaghetti noodles, mixed it in with Alfredo sauce. BOMB!!!!! And cheap!!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🥰🥰🥰😎😎😎😎😎
Erica, Tiffany, you ladies did good. With prices going up, up, up, we never know if we will have to make $10 last a week in the future. BTW, I buy some of their frozen veggies. Who eats the meals you and Tiffany creates? Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely amazing
Was thinking of other meals you could do:
Breakfast: french toast
Bread
Eggs
Jelly
Lunch: peanut butter and jelly
Bread
Peanut butter
Jelly
Dinner: fried rice
Rice
Eggs
That could be 5 ingredients used, leaving 3 slots open for extras
I was thinking the same thing.
Add some of that frozen peppers and onion mix , chopped up really small to that fried rice!
Those are appetizing meals for ten dollars a week! "Cheese is for Rich People" 🤣I like the Intro.
🤣
