I am Sri Lankan and I supported aus in the cwc final; but I agree that this wc was not that great, very few thrillers, no major competition between nations,. The only majorly interesting things were the upsets that still did not affect the points table and did not add to thrill of the group stage and the fight for knockouts. We saw too much batting dominance, the ideal cricket ODI pitch is a 260-280 run pitch, we saw too many 350 run games which clearly had little competition or thrill. Obviously there were a few memorable moments but still not enough that lives up to the hype of an ODI World Cup.
