For my rise of skywalker mic I’m gonna use this figure. Paint the helmet. Use the sh figure arts cape and lightsaber. And that’s it
Very cool, I'm making a diorama for a client who is about to receive Snoke with the throne and a Kylo like that. As it has not yet been received, I do not have the size of this floor. I need this measure to build part of the scenario. Could someone tell me the diameter of this piece? Thank you very much.

Awesome review Victoria. Cool figure I agree the scar is a little too prominent, but I definitely will be getting this over the regular release, now that I seen it, which is the only figure I need left of that wave. Good to see u still doing reviews.

Great fig but I do agree on the metal helmet on plastic.
The figure looks pretty good, but I'm not feeling the soft-goods cape. The plastic cape looks significantly better to me and for sure I'd use it on the new figure.

Question... what does the die cast helmet look like on the base release Kylo Ren?
I have not found this guy anywhere. either everyone is getting them or walmart is not getting them.
Only Walmart online has gotten them a handful of times, and they sell out really quickly each time.

Great review! Really glad I watched this before going through with buying this fig. I had passed on the single pack TLJ Kylo when I heard that this was coming. Definitely wanted that alt head, but I'm bummed to hear that the helmeted head is a die cast piece vs plastic. I knew it would be too heavy for the figure before you even mentioned it, and I'm not down with potentially damaging the neck peg for the sake of the alt head. So here's a question: does anyone here know if the helmeted head from the ORIGINAL TFA Kylo Black Series figure will fit on the peg on this figure (deluxe) or the single packed TLJ Kylo? I'd like to have a helmeted TLJ Kylo as the unmasked heads just don't do it for me, and if a swap is possible that's my plan.
That's a good question. I honestly don't think so because I the neck peg on this figure seems to be unique from what I recall seeing of other figures in this line. Hasbro doesn't generally intend for people to pull the heads off, unfortunately. Now, it's possible that the masked head of the SDCC exclusive from 2016 could fit onto this latest version, but even then I'd be doubtful since I recall the SDCC figure having a round neck peg and not one like this figure has.
Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I noticed that the neck peg on this exclusive is a little different from what we're used to. I'll bet that the neck peg on the regular release is normal though. I know that they don't really intend for the heads to be removable, but they also don't go out of their way to make it so that you CAN'T swap them. Alternate heads are more and more common these days, especially with Marvel Legends. I think I may give it a try with a regular release TLJ Kylo and the head from the original TFA figure. I'll let you guys know if it works or not!
Yo just FYI- I picked up the regular release TLJ Kylo as well as the KMart exclusive from TFA (found a cheap one on Ebay) and decided to swap out both the head and left hand on the two figures. Worked like a charm. The helmeted head sits just a little funny on the TLJ neck peg, but the fit is tight and its easy to pose. Also, the "force hand" from the KMart exclusive adds a really nice touch to this figure. Makes it a lot more dynamic. It's definitely one of the most dope Star Wars figures I own now (second only to the original TFA Kylo IMO). Since the TLJ head fits on the KMart figure, I also ended up with an unmasked Kylo from the end battle in TFA. Totally pleased with both results.

It does but it kind of just lays there. It actually doesn't look too bad.
So did Walmart finally release this? I live in Utah and been searching for this since mid December.. Can't find it anywhere
I live in Utah too. I have not seen them in stores. They have come up to buy on the Walmart website about three times and they sold out in a hour or so. Keep an eye on websites like jeditemplearchives, they will announce when they are available on Walmart.com.
No reports of it hitting retail yet. I got mine from their website.
walmart is always super late getting their exclusives in stores. The Marvel Legends Walmart exclusive Black Panther was abailable online for several months before they showed up in store.
