This rosehip soap ended up my favorite aesthetically but is it my favorite performance wise?

Soap & Clay is a family owned business operating in Washington State, but started out online thanks to Mrs. Soap & Clay's kickass brother and his amazing web design skills. The business was started as a tribute to Mrs. Soap & Clay's grandmother, the OG maker in the family that cultivated everyone's love for the DIY life. The studio/retail shop opened in 2017 on 6th Ave in Tacoma, and immediately began teaching soap, bath bomb, lotion, and scrub classes to the makers and maker enthusiasts of the PNW. Mrs. Soap & Clay has been featured on Business Spotlight, New Day Northwest, and was awarded a coveted place on the South Sound's 40 under 40 list in 2019, an award given to the most influential business people under the age of 40 each year. She cried when she walked up to the podium to accept the award. A lot.

I definitely love the last bar! Probably because I’m a sucker for a nice white bar and just look at that bubble! Very nice. And don’t feel bummed that Scout hasn’t come to you for help. Getting a win all on her own will mean more to her than if she had help. It’s a credit to your parenting you raised such an independent and motivated, strong young lady who’s gonna prove she can be intelligent and clever just like her momma. ❤️
Now that was a very interesting bubble outcome for sure. Scout just like her Mama Bear, so sciency. She would be soooo fun to watch. I have visions of her with her white lab coat on and safety glasses, test tubes, things bubbling in the background lol. Bless her. 😀😀😜😜

Oh WOW! at those bubbles. All the soaps look amazing. But Im with you, Rose hips are the way to go for cost .

I have used white rose petals in a lye infusion. I does discolor to a light yellowish tan. I was able to add TD to get it closer to white.

Idk the bubble on those first 2 was pretty awesome, but I love that last one! And watch Scout go create like the best bath bomb we’ve ever seen!

They all look beautiful! I didn't get around to making a bar soap this month BUT I used Rosehip extract and oil in a whipped foaming and exfoliating face wash with pink clay and it's the BOMB! Madonna!??? I'm so jealous! I've been dancing and singing along with her music for 40 years and never seen her live. I hope you have fun!

I JUST made my rose hip infusion! I infused in avacado oil and in olive oil! I have my first batch of soap CPOPing now, but accidentally used the avacado infused oil instead of my olive oil infused oil.😢 I probably effed that all up, but will see.😢

I think I like 1 and 4, the appearance of the 4th is really nice, and I don’t manage to get such white bar never, ever lol.
I’ve tried the pencil line recently (two days ago) with charcoal powder, and my soaps are ugly dirty 😂😂
Do you shave the sides of it if it gets too dirty?
Would the label have to say Rose or rosehip ...or would it matter since it's roses?
Hey! Good question. Because there are different fatty acids in Rosehip that can’t be extracted from the rose petal, I would say Rosehip.
