Hi everyone, no creating today, I had a request from a subscriber asking if I could do a video on varnishing, pleasure to do this! Welcome to my new subscribers and thank you for the support. 😊😍
Thank you so much for doing this video. I am a bigger and have 2 small canvas i would like to put on my wall, so seen how you varnish was what I needed. Again thank you for doing the video.🎉❤
What a beautiful work of art, Kat, and you look so cute and adorable in pink, and your accent is so sweet and graceful, your grace. If you had light blue and silver, you'd make Cinderella's beautiful ball gown.
Thanks that was very helpful . What ever that horrible comment was , forget it and try to ignore it. People like that are obviously jealous of your talent . Thanks again Gill x
You’re welcome Gill, I wasn’t sure if you would have wanted me to mention your name in the video but this was especially for you. Thanks for your comment about the troll, hopefully they will keep away 😊✨
I'm new to this world, done 3 practice canvases that are both terrible and exciting about what to try next. ❤ Soon I'll use them to practice varnish. The explanation of the different kinds of varnish is very helpful. This painting is amazing!!
Thank you Millie, I know what you mean but practice, practice, practice is the key to success. I used to have a disaster box for my terrible pieces but they all tell a story, my early videos show some of my disappointments 😊
That’s a good question Elaine, some artists use a foam wedge on a stick but I don’t like that method. Whatever is used you need to work quickly before the varnish gets tacky 😊

Thanks for that, Trina. It certainly brings out the colour. ❤ xx I love the picture. Beautiful. xx
It reminds me of moonlight on the sea. ❤ xx

@@amytalbert2911 I’m so sorry just checking my replies, I have no idea why I called you Millie, it’s Amy 😊✨🫶🏻
Could you use a squeegee to keep it level?
