One of the most honest reviews of Perak i hv seen so far. I own a Perak since Aug 2020. My observations are exactly as yours. I m 5 feet 11 and weigh 85. The seat is ridiculous, suspension too hard and mine one vibrates post 70 kmph. Riding position is most uncomfortable. Can't go for long rides. 50 kms ride is pain in the back n ass. Wish it has raised bars, soft seat n suspension with feet forward position.

It's so useful analysis,, i have seen many reviews of Perak but none that that is talking real issues,, well u have covered all points which i thought of ,, only one point remaining which is half gear lever,,, should not be used for bobber,,,, it's a sports feature

Strell, we have a classic 350. Is it good to mount a top box or two side panniers? Which is better? If you mount a top box (aluminium) will the bike be hard to control in any way? Or a luggage rack (rear) is good?

The bike itself is fine, but it feels too small. While my father loves the looks and says the bike is "compact", I just felt it's small. The bike tries to make up for it with wide handlebar, but for taller riders, legs are cramped.
Another problem is, the bike has no character. Royal Enfield classic for now, still uses pushrods and have it's own unique character.
Mahindra Mojo is much better package overall than any of the jawa bikes. Perak looks good but just feels small. You can ignore the impracticality associated with this bike and just buy it for leasure riding around the town, but don't be taller than 5'10".

Strell bro am having a MT 15 and am using Yamaha Oil itself. . is it good to switch on to a different engine oil like Motul or Liqui moly?
Castrol is good bro, try that. We've used motul but not liqui moly. But comparing motul, Castrol is good.

Hi Nirmal, switch to a different engine oil from stock, only if you are not happy with the stock because of vibrations or smoothness. On the oil, I am not sure about Yamaha motorcycles. Please check it with owners.

I'm using motul fully synthetic in Gixxer 250. Difference is engine runs much smoother for longer periods than when I use Suzuki's Ecstar. Motul makes the engine note a little more harsh. Also, the one I use is fully synthetic always. In most cases, the OEM oil just does the job. I prefer motul, only because I had experience with workshop people replacing oil with whatever they like and charging for the premium ones. In case if you don't trust the people who change it for you, switch to other brands, recommended by the manufacturer. But once you switch STICK TO IT and don't change the brand, grade and type often.
