Tall Ships - Quiet Cruise (153)

Tall Ships at Gloucester Docks, what a fantastic venue, this is just a snapshot of the days entertainment, there was even a mock ship battle the Vilma navigating the basin in full sail complete with firing cannons. Note the Vilma had a powerful engine certainly needed in the close quarters of the dock basin.

Thanks for watching, it was a great day, weather was kind with a great atmosphere. Only down side in my mind, it was VERY expensive just to walk around the fenced off dock area at £14.70 pp (no concessions). Considering our Tall Ships in Antwerp was FREE! (2022) which was approx 4 times larger with a fantastic firework display. How times have changed! Back to the choir, yes they were fantastic, enthusiastic and energetic!
