Amazes me when rookies come to their first camp unprepared to compete. Latu gets another shot. He has promise, but it’s the NFL Not For Long. Since Berendo will not really compete with CMC for playing time, he may be a candidate for FB2, adding a dimension that will literally freeze LBs. In that role he will also lessen the pressure on TE2
That would be interesting!! I never put anything past Shanahan. Last year they tried Colletto at FB 2. If you have a player versatile enough to play 2 positions, then why not try it out.
We should trade for Michael Mayer.
Do you think the Raiders are going to unload him?
@@49ersCutback 50/50. Maybe that's why they drafted Bowers that high. Mayer is the previous regime's guy. Unless Bowers was taken to run 2 tight end sets.
