If you ad a little mosfet transistor to give power to the small magnetic signal from the disk during the reading process, the needle in the galvanometer will move more intensively. But even without any amplification we can see the needle moving what is just amazing.

I already understood how this concept works but my god, this is easily the simplest and best explaination I've seen so far.
