Ah yes, Bellingham, discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it Bellingham, which of course in German means 'a whale's vagina'.

And you can't forget about the flaming river that almost burnt the city to the ground.

great city. I love it! Bellingham is a great city 👍 Born & raised. I’ve lived in the Fairhaven area, Alabama area, etc. it’s truly a special city. I remember when Bellingham was much much smaller then it is right now. That’s the perks of being Born and raised in Bellingham, no matter how big it gets, I will always remember the small town it once was ❤️. I remember going on the Amtrak with my mother every week, Bellingham to Seattle. In like 2003-2006 or 7. And farmers market used to have actual street clowns blowing up balloons and giving them to kids, i was one of those kids, I remember when the boardwalk was all woods planks on only one side to walk on. I remember the original pirate ship playground at boulevard park, i remember it all. I recommend Visiting or Moving to Bellingham for everyone, no matter what your political views are, job income, there is a spot for everyone. It’s the city of variety.
