Love the video!
How were you able to connect a mouse and also record the screen?
I would like to project the app screen onto a much larger LCD per HDMI?
can you drop a link for the cable that you connect the camera to the tablet with please?
can you use a mirror less dslr camera with slr booth app?
Thanks for share it. Could you plz share the name of the clamp ( Brand) that you use.. Looks pretty good. Thanks.
What works better, the eyefi sd card or the Nikon wifi adapter?
hai great app!, btw if i use Canon t6/1300d the hdmi port is still usable to connect to LED TV to extra monitor? thx b4
Is there any chance you could provide a link to purchase that specific tablet clamp/bracket? I can't seem to locate one. Thank You
is it possible to print out 2x6 prints with the standard 4x6 using this app
Does the scanable QR also work or multi photo templated designs, (ie download single image as shown, or all photos on the template design) Similarly, the 'instant print' Can it be 'delayed' so that rather than individual images, it only prints the final templated design
Hello,
I like to thank you for your time on making this video. Im having a bit of a problem setting this up. I am using my Nikon D3000 with Samsung Tablet Galaxy Tab A model with 6.0.1 version. When connected, my tablet has a white screen. It does sometime take picture with the 5 sec count down but it doesn't store any photo. Then it state ( Communication with camera was interrupted: Code CP-1 12) followed by ( Couldn't read information, error code "0x0000"). i have tried disconnecting and powering down all equipment but still the same error. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you
what kind of tablet clamp are you using?
Hi there, I currently bought a Logitech C930e for my photobooth.. I have a generic windows based tablet. Does your app support Windows??? Second, do I need to buy a Windows table with some sort of basic configuration in order for you app to work.
is this compatible with the Nikon d5100? also is the Selphy cp1200 compatible with Android tab or is it just the cp910?
And does the tablet receive power from the camera so it doesn't run out of battery after a night of photographing?
What's the link to the tablet please?
can you elaborate on how to print with any DNP printer connected to the tablet with USB port? the app doesnt seems to see the printer and offer only google air or ftp..
what can you use to charge the tablet and keep the camera connected? or even connect a printer?
also what other features you get with the full version?
hi, i am using SLR Booth on an Ipad with a Nikon D5200. When i connect everything and turn them on SLR Booth keeps searching for the camera but cant find it.
I can't find the Tablet clamp anywhere!!!! I have been searching everywhere for it can you please provide a link ???
Can you add a ring light to that setup
Hi, I have tried to look for the tablet base or grap on internet but i do not find it out. Can you tell me where can i get it? in wich website for a samsung note 8.0
why the photo on the tablet is taken in a different time of the camera? the one in the camera shoots together with the flash, but the one showing in the tablet ,the flash is not triggered . Do you have any idea why?
Nice app, but to much exposure on the Nikon
can i use macbook pro m1 instead of android tablet?
Really appreciate this video.
Hi! I don’t understand how to connect the tablet to printer. I have a hiti p525l but i don’t know if this printer support airprint. Thanks
Thanks for the clarification and prompt reply :-)
Is there a remote option for people to see themselves and take the photo?
What's the difference between the personal and commercial license?
There's just too much of a lag in the video enjoy the application and work it properly especially if you're taking multiplenshots..you can't see yourself on the monitor before the picture is taken : ( anyone know of any solutions?? (Info: Samsung galaxy view is running Android 5, and my camera is a Canon 600D)
Will there be another video on customizing a template at all? The website instructions are a little confusing.

Using your set up. How would I add my DNP DS40 event printer to the ipad or camera ? And how would the app recognize my printer ?
DNP makes a print server you can plug the printer in to, and the app can then print to it via FTP
How do you get it to show live video
Could you please share the make/brand of the tablet tripod clamp. And I like your tripod, what brand is that please?
+Taryn Cooley Kaufman
Here's a similar tablet mount: www.amazon.com/E-More%C2%AE-Quality-Universal-Rotating-Tablets/dp/B00JRW2RAS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1447812539&sr=8-2&keywords=tablet+mic+stand
And tripod: www.amazon.com/XCSOURCE-Professional-Photography-Monopod-LF375/dp/B00K4N4C48/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1447812763&sr=8-7&keywords=q+tripod
+SLR Booth thank you. I'm hosting a cookie swap party in a few weeks and plan on using your setup and SLR for my guests to have a fun photo booth experience. Looking forward to playing with it.
I use a printer with wifi , a camera with cable, but how can I charge it ?
Can the app work through a USB hub or will this only work with the Carry Cable and the Camera's USB cable? I would like to keep the tablet charged during the Photo Booth session (as it'll probably be a couple hours)
+Philip Thomas There are custom cables available for some Samsung devices that will let you charge and connect a camera at the same time, but in general the answer is no.
This app have some kind of country restrictions : / Cant download it !
How can i use if i can't charge it ?
Hey Craig, I've been trying several times to connect my cannon 60D to the app, using a samsung tablet 8.0, but the app always send the message. "No compatible camera found, please connect via USB. but it doesn't work at all.
+Jannytt Perez Make sure you're using a USB-OTG adapter. When you plug the camera in, your tablet should prompt you to give the app permission to use the camera.
photo stuff cool ....thanks:)
Hiya, I find my tablet seems to run out a battery quickly using this, is there any way I can have a power supply and connect?
that's the answer am i look for it
Same - I think a splitter is needed, but I don't see any that run data and power simultaneously just "audio" splitter, but I doubt that's going to be a data connection that allows for transfer of photos
I must have missed something? After the purchase are there add-on fees, monthly fees or others? Thanks
Hi Jay - the app is free to download and use, and you can unlock the pro features (like hosted online galleries) for either a single event, or as a monthly subscription.
Hi! I have a problem on windows... i can not see the live picture...
I have installed the WCID Driver ( WinUSB v.6.1.7600.16385) - whats my problem?
can you edit templates with this photo booth app I really wanna put Steve and Sami wedding on the template ? ???
You definitely can load custom templates into the app, although you can't create them with the app. Check out our videos on templates!
I keep getting an error message. I'm using a Nikon D3100. First the app tells me that communication with camera was interrupted, error code CP-1 12. Then is tells me couldn't read device information, error code "0x0000". And if I try to take a photo the camera will snap a photo but the app will say waiting for image from camera, then tell me no image from camera and try to retake the photo until I turn the camera off. I've unplugged everything. Uninstalled the app and reloaded. Short of wiping the whole tablet. Help please!
+Taryn Cooley Kaufman - Sadly the D3100 isn't compatible
Is this application compatible with Nikon D5100? Im trying to use mine but it is not working. Error "Couldn't read device information, Error code 0x0000" how to fix this? thanks!
Yes, the D5100 should work. Try unplugging the USB, exiting the app, resetting the camera, and plugging back in. The app should start automatically, and/or you should get prompted to grant permission for the app to use the USB device.
Hi. I like your app. I'm using a Lenovo A10-70 and an Canon T5 (1200D) in M Mode, AF off. The App works fine but from time to time it loses the Communication with the Tablet. (0x0000) Do you have any suggestions for me?
Check the sleep settings on your camera - by default it is often set to only a few minutes.
Thank you, but the sleep settings are deactivated and the EOS is on manual mode. AF is deactivated too.
Is it possible to have one tablet running the live view/ trigger and another that will display recent photos? Do you have any diagrams of how this may be possible?
Yes! - you can install the social sharing app on a second tablet which allows you to browse the gallery, and share/print photos from there. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slrbooth.secondscreen
awesome. I will test that out and see how it goes. You should totally add something like that to your videos. The ability to trigger then show on a different device, away from the photobooth is necessary for many of the events I've attended.
Additionally, do you have a list of cable needs for specific cameras? For example, I have a canon and nikon that I would like to experiment with.
you'll need a USB-OTG adapter for your android device, and the usb cable that came with your camera (usb-mini for Canons)
I've paid for WiFi booth but the lack of support like this is making me switch. They have nothing on CZcams and you have to learn through a series of hard knocks. Tell me, i have a ds40 and a canon 750d. Is this sufficient? I have an iPad but can buy an android tablet. I have everything else from clamp to tripod etc.
The 750d has wifi so it should work with the iPad version - you'll need a laptop to act as a print server for your DNP
Do you know if the CP900 printer will work?
I don't think the CP900 supports AirPrint - the CP910 does
Do you need wifi at all like for camera or printer? or as long as you have phone/tablet service then you're good to go? Also, is it compatible with Nikon D3200? Thanks
D3200 is compatible. Most printers need wifi to connect
yay! Thanks :) I'm planning on getting SELPHY CP1200
Great tutorials btw!
is the d5200 compatible??
Maixomai m?
Is the app able to send pictures to a Facebook business page?
+Mad Science Hacks | Life hacks & How to Yes, you can send the images to your personal wall, or any page associated with your FB account.
That's great! I will be buying the full version soon.
Unfortunately I can't seem to get it to post onto my page. It posts onto my personal timeline but not on the business page associated with the same account.
How do I get it to post to my page?
can i get templates also add my logo overlays?
Yes - the pro version makes it really easy to add custom templates with overlays.
Just an FYI when watching this video... If you're listening to it through headphones, his vocals will only come through in your left ear bud. The right ear bud will only play the background music.
wow!! so true, why is that, I thought I was crazy
Do you need an internet connection at the event for this to run? thanks
The sharing features won't work without an internet connection, but you can still take the photos and even print if you have a local wifi network.
Thanks.
I'm looking at Tablets and was wondering if a Android running windows 10 will work? Thanks
would a android windows tablet work with the SDLR Booth program? I'm look at tablets now.
Since there hasn't been a response yet from the SLR Booth team as to the type of clamp used, does anyone have a clue to the brand or model of that clamp/bracket I quiried a couple of weeks ago? I can't find one like it anywhere? Thanks Guys
check amazon there are lots of different brands of clamps on there, type in keywords tablet/i pad clamp
Try this, its a clamp used in another DIY photo booth you tube vid, A clamp to attach the tablet adapter to tripod/lightstand (amzn.com/B00E5M39AW)
Absolutely the best there Jenine, now we're cook'n got the problem solved.
+Jay Fre Great I was actually online today looking for one my self and came across your comment good timing
Outstanding, the clamp that you noted will fit the larger diameter speaker stand I'm using for a more solid base even than my Manfrotto tripod was. The legs are a larger circumference than tripods and I was able to buy one for about $20.00 ! at a local music store that specializes in band instruments and speaker systems. So thanks so much for your keen catch on Amazon :-)
Anything for Mac?
+sperez95814 Just Android
very useful
Does the images get saved to the tablet or the camera?
+Trond-Daniel Kvalvik Both
+SLR Booth
how does it save to the camera? I have the free version is this why it only saves to my tablet? tried all the settings nothing is working
why does an android app require airprint to print...
You can also use google cloud print, or FTP if your printer supports it.
i keep getting conection interuption error cp - 1 12 how do i resolve this (s5 phone)
+CaptainDominic Usually happens when the camera and android device get out of sync. Try exiting the app, unplugging and restarting the camera, then plugging the camera back in. The app should start automatically.
+SLR Booth thank you found out that gallery was conflicting with app as I had it open on default when camera connected. Solved by removing defaults. You say on the site that you can use USB printer. Is this through otg cable (hub) or through airprint
+CaptainDominic Airprint is easiest. The USB support is pretty basic right now, it will only work with printers that don't require a driver.
+SLR Booth thank you. One more question. I'm playing with the custom template atm but am having problems with 1 out of 3 frames. (photo does not fit itself correctly) is there an ideal Box size to use so I could draw a blank box and fit a frame picture round that. Also is it possible for future release that you can set boundary boxes for each picture (a simple draw box on template in app kind of thing)
If you want to send your template to info@slrbooth.com I can take a look at what might be causing problems. We'll look at the template editor in a future release.
can't hear him speak only hear the background music.
Costumer service is the worst i've seen! I sent a message on the Facebook page and got no responce at all. I got the app yesterday and it worked fine and this morning nothingat all seems to work. It just keeps on taking pictures and gives me the message ''No image from camera-retaking picture''. I have not changed my hardware and nothing has been changed at all.. I paid for this app for my wedding next saturday and now I can't do absolutly nothing with it and nobody is answering me. What a load of crap!!!!
the audio is terrible!!!
Found the clamp on Amazon
www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LYMS5W2/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
100% Useless App. Doesn´t work with nexus 7, transformer pad or even galaxy s8...
You might want to check your cable to make sure it's a USB-OTG and not just a usb-micro. Also, if you're using a wifi-enabled camera, disable wifi or the USB port won't work.
SLR Booth cable is good. works well with other apps.
can you use a mirror less dslr camera with slr booth app?
