Penn for the win!!! 👍🏻 I'm with ya on spin fishers and slammers!
They’re solid reels!
Went surf casting for shark for the first time tonight! Ended up catching a 25+ pound butterfly ray. 😅
Thanks for the motivated video! Lol, I just ordered my first TFO 12 ft surf rod, I'm going to pair it with a VR200 with a 40lbs test.
MAN THATS MOTIVATING!!!!😂 so whats you favorite all around rig for casting out those big baits?
I use the HD rigs made by The Longest Cast Surf Fishing
Thats what I'm talking about 🎣
Blah blah blah this is an Awesome video 🔥. Nicely done!!
I'm just getting ready for my first surf fishing trip. I have an 8ft MH FA 1/4-1oz spinning rod paired with a shimano stradic 2500 reel 20 lb braded + mono and an 11ft MH FA 1-4oz spinning surf rod paired with a Penn battle iii 4000HS reel 30 lb braded. Tackle box with artificials, weighs and tools. I'm a freshwater fisherman and this will be my first saltwater fishing ever. Will I be ok with what I have? Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. Love your channel. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Canada.
Sounds like you will just need some pompano rigs and bait
@@SaltSquatch Yup...I already tied a few pompano rigs and have some float beads as well. I hope to be able to get some live baits locally. Thanks for the reply. Enjoy your weekend. Tight lines.

You’re so wrong on everything, blah, blah, blah 😝😝 so cool to you make this vid. BTW, how does that Tru Braid cast?
Casts great! With heavy baits I always use a glove to prevent deep cuts
Lol only post big catches
