... my mom passed away in September of last year; my elder brother, and two elder sisters put all the arrangements together for her funerary service, and so forth, and we'd had played a version of this classical piece which had sounded quite similar to this one, we'd asked the funeral director to cue it to play, just as her earthly vessel was being interred within her final resting place ... a few months earlier, I'd played some other variation on it to show her what my favourite bit of classical music is like, and maybe (hopefully?) convey the import of just WHY it's my favourite bit of classical music; which I think isn't the kind of thing a person can explain to someone else, just by telling them about it; it's an experiential type of knowledge, like how do ya clearly explain "red " to a person that was born blind? ... anyway, she'd listened attentively until it had played out till the end, and had been so moved, that she'd laughed, even as these glittering twin streams of tears kept silently coursing down her cheeks; I'll always, and most fondly remember the sound of her laughter in that moment, it was the sort of laughter that, right as ya hear it, ya know for absolutely certain, it issues forth from the central cloister of a person's heart, the place where empathy dwells, the place whence intuition finds expression, and the very seat of an embodied living entity's soul, that's an infinitesimal, yet equally eternal, only plenary expansion of the supreme being, by whom I'm given solid surety of seeing her again, someday, rip mom, I love you more than words can possibly make known ... I miss you every day, but I also know you're beyond bliss and misery alike now, and you're watching over me always ... ❤️
