Shadow I know this video is 6 months old but their is a secret ending all u have to do is go left every time tails is a cave and u go backwards and their is a black ring it will say die.
And for Knckles I can't spell worth for shite u did the glitch and go back for the black ring.
And for eggman it is a little difficult but all u have to do at the stairs go to the tip on the stairs don't go down and when u do that u will go back and keep going and u will see the back round different and after u go down sonic.exe will say something and go back and get the black ring and go down the stairs all the way until eggman dies and wait for the end at the words that look Japan words it will say it to English and sonic will appear I know this comment is long but it was worth it.

When you completed the knuckles secret stage (when you go left),after you spawned again in the start point you need to go left again,there is a black ring you should collect.If you get 3 rings (one in each character),you will get a secret act (which that you can play as Sonic).Those secret rings are just for the secret act.Nothing changes about the ending.
