I just bought this... thank you for showing me how to use it... it's an awesome machine.. light and slim just the way I like it.. I have the old slim machine without the reservoir and that was a pain to fill every single cup. This one is perfect! just wish it had a STRONG button like the old one since I like my coffees strong.

It melted more than half the ice. I got one today. Gonna try it with smaller cup. Just don't want my coffee tasting like water.
6 oz and the ice gives you the right amount of flavor.

The K Slim + makes hot and iced drinks. It has the iced drink button if you saw that in his video.

I just bought one but my over ice button isn’t working at all. The normal buttons work just fine but not the over ice at all. Do I have to use the brew over ice pods or is my machine just not working?
When you press the over ice button, you still have to press the big K Brew button,

Is there a trick to getting the pod holder out so you could use your own coffee? I pushed up from the bottom and it popped up slightly but is still attached in one spot and I can’t get it out to use the KCup filter
it might catch but if you keep pushing from the bottom it will come all the way out. it has a couple tangs that kind of keep it in. check out this video it might help. czcams.com/video/xsuwkcrN8hA/video.html

I looked on their website and I didn't see any K-Slim with multistream. Are you referring to the K-Supreme?
@@ethansteiner So you have to look really close at the black K Slim, it has a little label on the pic that says multi stream, Mine comes in tomorrow.

@@ethansteiner There is a K Slim multistream with more than one needle on the top causing the better-tasting coffee from what I have read. The K Slim + only has one needle but has the iced coffee mode.

maybe, you would need a milk frother. the smallest amount of coffee this will brew is 6 oz when using the over ice button. you really need the k cafe, when you press the shot button it runs just 2 oz through a k cup to give you a concentrated coffee which mimics an espresso shot. you really need that concentrated coffee but you can try it with the iced button and hot milk.

I just bought this and it's my first Keurig. Why is there a 12oz option, and room for a large travel mug if the K pods can only brew 8oz?
Great question. some people must like there coffee really water down. But I guess it gives them the option to brew bigger, but not really sure.
My wife likes a full cup of coffee. She prefers 12 oz and seems to like the taste.

Hi, just curious and confused here.. I was under the impression that these Iced Coffee Machines will make cold coffee.. but still I have to make step to the fridge to get an ice?? so what makes it an "iced coffee" machine then?
There is cold brew which is made in the ice box. most people use cold brew to make Iced coffee. these machine brew the coffee hot and strong over ice. the ice melts and you have to add a little more ice but his is a fast iced coffee brewed hot. some prefer the taste of coffee brewed with hot water and some like it brewed in the ice box. There’s not a coffee maker in the world that makes cold coffee lol. I suggest unstant coffee over ice. Even at Starbucks they Make iced coffee hot

Great question. they both make great iced coffee. The mr coffee is a little more work but you can add more coffee to make it stronger. the Keurig you are limited to 2 tablespoons of coffee in a k cup. the mr coffee is harder to clean up, the Keurig is very simple. Not sure think it comes down to if you want a big iced coffee that is really strong then mr coffee.

yes, but most Keurig's that just brew coffee don't brew small amount, this brews a concentrated small amount and ice will melt giving it the proper dilution. some Keurig's the lowest they brew is 6 or 8 oz which would be too much when the ice melts.

The K Slim + will be a more sleek machine. Depends on what size you want on your counter top.

You cannot use the regular K Slim for iced coffee. It must be the K Slim +. Costs a little bit more, however, if you desire iced coffee or tea it is worth it. The regular K Slim has multistream technology as it punctures the top with more than one needle. The K Slim + only has one needle.

Why does my add water button keep blinking not letting me brew
You have to have the minimum amount of water in the reservoir otherwise it will not brew. Just add water and see what happens.

Have you added water? If the water gets too low the add water light will remain on. If that does not work, call the company.

If you watched the video he explains it brews only 6 ounces so it is not watered down for the iced beverage. You do not pick the ounces. The K Slim does it automatically once you push the iced drink button.
I bought this machine from QVC for $34.16 then I also bought K-Express Essentials for $35. I’m so confused as to which of these 2 I should keep. I commented on your K-Express review video too. I need help.😢
keep the k express it will do a 6 oz iced wich is the same as this one when you press the iced button

not that much, you can taste a little better coffee but I like the over ice button for over ice.

Wait why is distilled water not recommended?
if you read on line , coffee maker heating elements work the best when there are minerals in the water, distilled water has no minerals.

@Laura DA what i do is make 2 ahots of coffee so 2 k cups then put them in the fridge so it can be cold. Then pour it over ice.
Is anyone having issues with this brewer? I just went the two in the past two months. Both brewers started smoking and struggles to brew. Its doesn't even brew a full cup more like two table spoons. I am just confused and don't know what's going and for this to happen another brew. I haven't found any reviews so thought maybe someone on here had the same experience.

This is the reason I haven’t purchased this one yet. All the reviews on target say that it starts steaming instead of dispensing coffee. Or others saying that they can only do one iced coffee but can’t do a second iced right after and that just steam will come out. I’m still doing my research to find out which one I want. It’s been about 7yrs and my Keurig 2.0 just finally started giving me trouble (only a couple ounces come out).
@@JustADad I actually brewed hot the other day and I am like let me try iced again. And the iced feature ended up working. I was using a glass mason jar but put a metal spoon in it to prevent cracking. I stoped using glass and used metal I also didn’t shut the top and press the buttons right away. I paused for a littler and paused in between pressing the iced feature then the blinking K. Idk iIm use to my other Keruig where I just shut it and press what I need. This seems to be more sensitive. But in regards to the needs I noticed the top one was white when I’m pretty sure it will silver. But yeah it started randomly working again!

Idk if your an everyday coffee drinker I’d invest in the more expensive once’s with the iced button feature. I just feel like this one isn’t the sturdy and is hyper sensitive. I’m just an every other day mabye every 3 days coffee drinker. Idk I kinda want to invest in the more expensive one but this iced coffee taste amazing out of this one like coffee shop perfect!

Why don't you just brew a cup of coffee and put the ice in after the coffee has cooled a little bit? A lot less ice will melt. That's what I do.
Not everyone has that kind of time and wants to do that. I like to prepare my iced coffee in the morning but I hate having to let it cool bc I like to drink it while I get ready
@@gene5301 If you don't have the time in the morning, you can make the coffee the night before and put it in the fridge overnight. Then when you are ready to drink it in the morning, you can put the ice in it and there will be no ice melt at all.

I thought part of the taste was allowing the ice to melt and dilute the strong coffee to the right ratio. If you let it cool aren't you then just drinking cold coffee? bleh!
This version is a gimmick I've been doing this with my old keurig for over a year now lol. I just came to see if buying this one was anything different than what I do now... no absolutely not. If I'm in a hurry I do this. If I have time to prep I make an entire glass jar full around 32oz of coffee let it cool and store it in the fridge for quick easy grab and go in the A.M before work
