- This foundation isn't super new, however many of you have been asking me to test it out... the only reason I can think of is it being a part of the "COLORSTAY" line from Revlon (which is one of my personal favorites)! Let's find out if it's better or worse (,,꒪꒫꒪,,)

I have to say it's really not fair to expect any foundation to be judged going over an active sunburn ...that's not dry skin , that's damaged skin.

I just tried this today! I liked how it went on. I’m suuuuuper oily and no grossness yet. No dry patches to deal with but I do have a couple spots I had to use concealer on. I am not agreeing with their claim of full coverage either. This cost me 21.99 in Canada so I’m hoping it lasts for me. Thanks so much for the vid! Xo
Update: Holy cow, holy grail?? This may be the one this extremely oily girl has been looking for. I sweat my ass off yesterday walking around in nearly 100 degree heat, and after blotting the sweat, this foundation as nearly PERFECT. I still blot occasionally with this, but way less than with other makeup. If you are oily, try this!
For 40+ with oily t-zone I love this foundation. It is my go to drugstore foundation for everyday. I use it with no primer and it worked out great for me. I did my first blot after 9.5 hours. For me that's amazing. It's very forgiving on fine lines and mild texture as far as blurring. I love it myself and that's extreamly unusual for me. I did my own review on this foundation and I was pleasantly surprised!!

this is my favorite foundation, it looks amazing on my skin, no texture, lasts all day, and covers everything. skin types are different you never really know for sure unless u try it urself

Is it just me or is this just the Colorstay Whipped foundation in a new packaging? To me they're very similar in consistency.

I had an absolutely horrific allergic reaction to the ColorStay Whipped that gave me effectively a chemical burn all over my face. this doesn't bother me in the slightest, in fact it feels soothing and comfortable while it's on, so something's different.
Lots of people have been suggesting that too.... interesting though isn’t it!! I liked the whipped one so it’s not all bad if it is I feel.

I think the reason it doesn't look that great on your skin, especially forehead is because you're sunburned.. not really the foundations fault. I think you should keep trying to out once your skin has healed

Just to add to my last comment.. I was terrified of it too . I thought it was going to be like the Maybelline or Rimmel whipped foundations that look like utter death on my skin and then when I first put it on I thought I was going to be an absolute greaseball ... but neither one of those things happened... and it doesn't break me out and I'm very sensitive acne and blackhead prone. I wore it for a week straight in Houston when we had to go for a medical treatment at the beginning of the month . it was the only foundation I brought (other than concealer and corrector of course). I also didn't set it and it was perfectly fine. I'm kind of terrified this product is going to be misunderstood and people are either going to stay away because they're scared of it, or they're going to expect it to be something that it's not, and those who would be in the market for this product are not even going to buy it because it's mislabeled basically by the manufacturer... and it's going to just disappear off the market and be discontinued ...but it's really really good, and I don't know of anything else that does what this does. Anything else that looks this natural doesn't last on oily skin or in the heat. Anything that does last looks like spackle.

Gina Colla I'm obviously not Cassie but I have normal skin and the super stay stick did not wear well on me at all. It faded very quickly and unevenly. It did apply and blend out nice though. Would love to see Cassie's review as well!

I really like this foundation. it looks like skin even though it covers SUPER well. its matte without feeling drying, and it stays on pretty well even through Oklahoma summer heat which for the past 6 weeks pretty much has been 95-110° with fairly high humidity.
Hey Cassie! Liked the video but I definitely think there should be some sort of rubric for your paws rating. It would be a lot more concrete (for lack of a better word) as far as the rating goes rather than just kinda throwing numbers out there.
Hey try Flower foundation in the glass bottle with the pump! This is the greatest foundation I have ever found. You’ll love the coverage and luminous effect. Love you my friend!
I did a review of this on my channel and a comparison to the Colorstay Whipped that got discontinued. Pretty sure it's the exact same foundation repackaged!
This reminds me of that L'Oreal full cover foundation. I haaated it, but I didn't have to powder or blot. Maybe a good mix-in?

As a very oily girl, I was intrigued by this foundation. That it prevents shine is a plus, but I see problems. I have very textured skin due to acne scarring and rosacea (the dreaded "orange peel skin"), and I see this foundation as being patchy and as emphasizing my skin's texture. Also, due to the poor shade range, I don't see that I can find a shade that is pale enough for this Very Pale Princess. So, I am giving this a miss. Thanks for your review! ~Anastacia in Cleveland

Not all shade ranges suck though. It's good to know for people who actually care about finding their shade and for people who want to support companies with a good shade range. Inclusiveness is very important to me. 💕

Maybe it would be more helpful to actually go in store and swatch the different shades to see how fair/deep they are? Otherwise it is difficult to make a judgement on the shade range. Pictures online can be very decieving and personally I always go in store and swatch before I buy.

Check Ulta, some have testers for some of the drugstore makeup products.

There’s no light shades either. This is only light/medium to medium/dark in shade range, there are no fair/light or deep/dark shades so really only medium shades.

I really like this Foundation but it's Tricky. It has this transparency to it that is so beautiful on , but unfortunately means that it doesn't have full coverage. you really need to put something on underneath it , such as concealer or corrector , if you have major problems. I wear it over the top of my It Cosmetics bye bye redness... and it evens out the rest of my Foundation and makes my skin look freaking amazing all day. in the heat ...in the humidity ...it doesn't budge and it looks gorgeous. I don't have anything that can perform like that... that looks like that. it looks just like skin and it feels so comfortable on. Compared to the Revlon ColorStay it doesn't cover as much but it looks about a million times better. Revlon ColorStay is one of the clunkiest, most obvious, poor-performing foundations in that range that I own. I recently were purchased most of the long wear full coverage foundations in the drugstore Market because I wanted to compare them all ... and I would rather wear the Maybelline superstay, the Covergirl Outlast , or L'Oreal infallible over the Revlon ColorStay. I think they did this Foundation a disservice by naming at what they did they should have named it "Revlon invisible 24-hour" or something.
Hey Cassie, have you tried the Milk Makeup Blur foundation? It's totally silicone-free. If you try it out, the key to making it work is to shake the bottle a ton! Otherwise I like it a lot and recommend it.

I would love to see a makeup company take a picture of their entire shade range on an actual person, and line them all up in the group photo; much like the pic you showed of the 3 girls.
Obviously profit plays a role in the decision of what shades to make, but for this particular product most of those shades are just slight variations of the color next to it. Just my opinion.

keepwatch nPray98 of course! 🤗 I tend to break out from dimethicone personally, but I love the DHC Clarity Pore Cover primer so much, I deal with the minor breakouts to get a smoother finish on my scars and huge pores ☺️ I try to avoid other dimethicone-heavy formulas though

I have been loving this foundation! It really keeps me matte.
Revlon color stay with cream make up 24 hour foundation that comes in the pie, the first ingredient is an acid the second ingredient is sodium hyaluronate. They can't have the first ingredient be silicone and expect us fans to be happy. That sodium hyaluronate is why it says so well it doesn't crease during the day and goes on beautifully
What is your holy Grail drugstore and highend foundation? 😭 I'm struggling so bad. Nothing seems to be working . I'm very oily,large pores and acne prone
The colorstay for oily is the only thing I use lol! Interesting to see them add to that collection, but that price though...
I like this foundation, however I mix it with my Maybelline fit me and that really makes a difference in the coverage and finish. It really does control my oil very well. I'm always on the hunt, but so far this has become my go to.

Rebecca Miller in general, silicone gives products a silky feeling and can be blurring by filling in pores. However, it can clog pores and causes breakouts for some people.

I feel like this is the old foundation version they had in the jar put into a tube. I love the finish, but it wears off around the sides of my nose in no time flat.

How long do you let your primer sit before applying foundation? I know from experience with certain primes if I put foundation on too soon then it can look separated or cakey in spots. If I let my primer set for a bit first then the foundation goes on better.

I'm annoyed with drug store (and other brands of course) naming foundations ~random number random color descriptor~ for people like me who aren't very good at shade matching! Like I'm fair to light rosy cool. Which of these shades are the light cool.! Like 150 Buff. What does that mean? What would be my summer shade? What would this look like in sunlight? I can't tell all of that from the outside of the bottle 😒 just a random thought. It looked a little gray when you first put it on, but got better once it dried and you had all your makeup on .. love you Cassie.
I’m in 150 in this as well and you were in 150 In the Fenty Beauty foundation so I’m pretty sure that’s gonna be my match and I’m pretty sure I’m neutral.. I have to order online so it’s kinda difficult but honestly most of the foundations you use I’m in the same shade so even if it’s too light there’s always bronzer lolx❤️

I didn't like this foundation. It clung to my dry patches and it was not full coverage at all. Had to keep building and it wore off too quick and just bleh.

For a brand as big as Revlon to not have a decent shade range is a big pass for me.

I never realized until your videos how damn light all these foundations in stores are. im a white girl and i can imagine that it must be hurtful for darker ladies :( i wish these companies would change this.

Courtney Pie yes girl its very hurtful, sometimes the undertones are all wrong. I sometimes have issues with finding a perfect drugstore foundations. But im not as dark as other black women so its even worse for very dark girls to find a nice affordable foundation. Revlon can bettet smh
It's awful. Everyone should be able to walk into Wal-Mart or the drug store and find a foundation IN YOUR SHADE with the correct UNDERTONE AND the finish you want.
Plus, I wanna add, I am paper white and yes, there tends to be lots of "light" foundations, BUT I have a really hard time finding a foundation at the drug store. The only "perfect" shade match for me is the L'Oreal ProGlow in the second shade. The lightest shade is the lightest shade I have ever seen at the drug store. But that's the only one I have found. There isn't even a corresponding shade for me in the ProMatte
Actually many drugstore foundations tend to go for the medium shades. there's just as much of a lack of fair Shades as there are Dark Shades. however... there are multiple, I could probably name off 10 right off the bat exclusively dark-skinned Brands. my local Walmart carries three or four of them . I have yet to see an exclusively fair-skinned brand except for one very tiny independent company a few years ago that I don't even think exist anymore.
