This must’ve been during Ida. I got a tornado warning for my county as well which was Bronx County New York.

It was. I was north of the tornadoes and the Tornado Warnings. I did however get 30-40 mph wind gusts at some points and 10 inches of rain fell for me. Many schools were closed the next day. My college campuses closed for two days at that time.

Bro I was trying to sleep at 12 PM midnight when I wake up to BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP the National weather service has issued a tornado warning

I live in KY but theres been a couple times where i got rudely awoken by a tornado warnings lol. One time it was morning, didn't sound like it was doing anything outside & my phone randomly started making noise. I expected it to be an amber alert or something but it said tornado warning 😭. I jumped out of bed & 5 minutes later the tornado sirens went off... another time i woke up to a storm, my hourly forecast on my weather app showed some of the hours in red (first alert weather day, the hourly thing is usually blue instead). I decided to use the bathroom before it got worse & while i was in there the sirens went off again. Both of those tornado warnings according to the weather app were for a small part of my county that didn't include my neighborhood, but i took shelter in the hallway til they expired just in case lol
