    The Roland Juno-60 Synthesizer from the year 1982 is one of my Top5 synths ever. Here can you find the full Juno-60 playlist with single sound demos and one synth demo tracks. Enjoy.

    Awesome sounds. I’ve had my Juno 6 for about 25yrs and you pulled a bunch I havent heard. Iconic synths is an understatement.
    You can always tell whose never actually spent time with one when you hear complaints of ‘limited’. Ha! Great work again 👏

    Love my J60. I rarely use the Chorus in my patches.....I find you can get even subtler tones from it. ;)

    Great vid, you really get some nice sounds of the Juno 60. I use my Juno 6 for dub techno chords to good effect... I wouldn't be without it.

    Is that one modded? The one I had didn't have all those little switches in the right-back panel. Number 2 in my biggest gear selling regrets. I was so hard up at the time. This keyboard is so immediately playable. I also really liked how the poly worked on it. This was also a synth that was fun to tape keys down with and drone on.

    Still sad about that day I had to a chance to get a Juno 6 at a great price but someone beat me to it. I love all the junos (even the alpha 1 and 2...but none after those) but the 6 is still my fave. Awesome videos here like always my dude.

      Weird Music I see i got out of it for a while and only start getting back into it in 2016. I just got a JX8P and im stoked. How is the Alpha Juno 1? Its the next thing im looking to buy.

    • @fortheloveofnoise
      @fortheloveofnoise Před 6 lety

      Just Another Guy I saw an alpha Juno 1 for $200 a few months ago and im still kicking myself for hesitating. I never see them sub $350 now. People sell them for the same as the 2....so pick your poison. 1 is smaller, not built as sturdy.....but no velocity to go bad. I want the 1 over the 2 but most would prefer the 2 (I hate velocity sensitive keys, that is IF the feature can not be disabled...cough cough my Akai Miniak, so Ima sell/trade it one day....and have been trying to)
      i want the alpha juno for that Hoover sound.... Love techno and other electronic music older than me.

      Weeeeeeell, "the best" is always a ground for fierce and bloody battles, let's better not go there. But it IS undeniable that both the Juno6 and Korgs Polysix have their place in history as the first synths who made polyphonic synths affordable by stripping them to the barest minimum possible (I mean, one osc, holy minimalism batman) while still sounding pretty fu**ing great :-)

    One of the best synth (OB is the best ;)) since all that time !
    You can play many hours, you always find something with this synth, it's very surprising !
    If i want a great saw bass, a square lead, great brass, wonderful bells..JUNO 60 (TAL UNO X in my case but it sound pretty close)
    And with the wysiwig interface, (one button one function) patch edition is or could be very fast !
    Very good for a beginner with money in the pocket, cause Juno's are a bite expensive !
    Great sounding demo my dear !
    Btw Marko, what is the mod behind your Juno 60 i never...OK i go to play on the autobahn ;)

    Ha, so much better than a .... a .... Plugin! THis is the real deal. no wonder the Juno 60 has a very stable reputation. If you want to listen to a modern track outside of the techno/ trance style, listen to Nils Frahm's "Says", it is full of Juno 60.

      Michael Langley - Yeah...a salesperson talked me out of buying a Juno-60 because the Juno-106 was about to come out. When it did, the Juno-60 was almost nowhere to be found. I bought and liked the Juno-106, but thought it felt less 'warm' than the Juno-60 and hated it no longer had the arpeggiator. Not sure if the built-in MIDI made up for those!

    • @jaggass
      @jaggass Před 6 lety +1

      Even though the architecture is similar the Juno 60 is slightly fatter. Ive got a Juno 106 that im currently restoring . Changed the top panel, got new caps and refurbished voice chips ready to go in. Once ive put it all back together im getting rid of it. Working ones go for about £1000.
