Probably one of the most thought-out and organized van builds I have seen.I really like the wheel and shoe storage idea.
SteveOutdoors watch the lost co van build that one is probably my favorite
@@evanrindlisbacher8058 Will do: thanks!
Hanging things on hooks. Novel idea
$70k CAD is about ÂŁ40k GBP, which when you compare to a brand new VW california, they start at ÂŁ55k GBP - Awesome value!!! Best MTB'ers van build on youtube!
Yeah but if you are spending ÂŁ55k on a VW then you need your head testing. Way overpriced and overrated. You could spend ÂŁ25k and get a much better van.
H F yes but the California is a camper, for 25k the only camper you can get is an old used camper from the 70âs..
He said the price was without the van
@@beemo4 You need to think outside the box mate. If you buy a camper van pre made you will always pay way more than a self build. For 25k you could buy a van and convert it yourself. And 25k is a huge budget. Pick up a decent used van for 12k and then spend 12k on the conversion. That would be fitting it out with everything you could imagine to a high standard. I just did my own high quality convertion for less than 10k including buying the van. and wouldn't trade it for a VW. California or not.
Absolutely love the van, especially the garage -some people seem to sacrifice the quality of the garage but you guys seemed to get it just perfect
Garage is where it's at!
@Paul The Punter Great job on the ga-rage.
@@PaulThePunter How did the deal work with VanGo? Also how much would it cost if I wanted to build a van similar to yours?
Considering ready made campers based on the Promaster 2500 start at $90K+ USD your van is a great value. You got a van built to address all your needs with far superior workmanship... not a mass built generic camper that has to be adapted. Thanks for giving us a great series of the build out. Great Job VanGo!!!
the 70k price is without a van
@@williamdavis9471
Yeah, so $40k USD for the van and $50k USD for the conversion... you still get what you want for less..
I've watched a lot of these van build vids, especially for MTBers, (singletrack sampler etc) and this is the best. No expense spared, but totally worth it. Great job.
Vango did an awesome job. Turned out great!
Sure did!
This van is quite easily the best build that I've seen of the recent MTB CZcamsrs who have all bought into the vanlife. Well done Paul, it look seriously comfortable.
Respect. This van is one of the best conversions I've seen on youtube.
Great vid Paul. Loved this. The VanGo guys did such an incredible job there. The attention to detail is amazing. They truly are craftsmen. Enjoy!!
There we are gang - it's all over! Of course there are some tough times with no travelling happening right now, but more videos to come nonetheless. Apparently some people can't figure out that the final price does not include the van cost. Check out the VanGo Conversions website now - the also do partial builds! đbit.ly/VanGoConversions
Oooooh thank you paul
Have u still got a house
Paul The Punter oh yeah, I miss-read this apparently. đ
Wow. Definitely the nicest van I have seen so far. You can see that the builders are proud of their work, and rightly so.
Sweet van! Definitely one of the best conversions I've seen. VanGo did a great job.
I really enjoyed your build series! The tour is the icing on the cake! Pumped for you to have your van completed! See you on the road!
GREAT van build series, although I do have TWO suggestions. Please please please, firstly, get Kitchen rated fire extinguisher for the living cabin and an electrical extinguisher for the garage... Secondly, a vehicle size trauma kit... They make molle pannels that fit the seat backs, you could then put whatever extra pouches you'd like neatly on the seat back. Again great build.
Fan bloody tastic! Absolutely love this van build. I have so many likes in all areas of the van.
I loved how the guys at Vango Conversions (In Squamish, BC) Spent extra time on the finer bits of detail even if you will not be able to see it.
As is, right now. To Have that build van in my life (with my Scott spark 960) would change my life and way of thinking.
I could happily live in that, Checking out Canada at my pace is crying out to me.
This build would give me the ability to roam around and be me.
Well done Vango Conversions, Good luck and have fun Paul.
One thing I didnât see in the van was a fire blanket, extinguisher and first aid stuff? Iâve followed the whole van series and looks incredible!!
It's in there now, don't panic :)
Paul The Punter I wasnât worried haha! Just noticed it wasnât there thatâs all.
@@PaulThePunter Be careful running the stove burner with the window blinds installed.
Hi Paul, this series about your van build was incredible. I love it from start to finish. Thanks!
Thanks!
Best Van build Iâve seen. Looks spot on đ€đœ
What a fantastic van, so pleased for you Paul. After all this is over youâre going to have a great time in it!
Cheers Mum :).
The video we were waiting for! Iâm a big fan of your build, love it.
Just finished watching the build series. Wow !
The guys doing the build know what they are doing.
An absolute spot on van build!! As a professional truck driver, I thought I had it pretty good with the amenities in my truck(minus the toilet). You have an awesome setup Paul!! Use it well and enjoy it. I loved all the videos in this series. Now I want to see where you go and hope you make it to NC!
Probably one of the best van setup for MTB I have seen. Good job!
I've seen a lot of these conversions and this thing is a work of art.
"I want to see the garage first." Speaking my language. That pullout storage was amazing. I'm filling that idea away.
Wow they did a really good job. Great attention to details, great workmanship...just excellent work. Thanks for sharing this on CZcams.
Such a great launch platform into the next stage of your journey. Truly admire your ideas/ business sense that ultimately keep you in bike/ adventure mode.
Thanks Phil!
Iâve enjoyed the whole build series, and the final product is just sublime. Where BKXC went cheap and fast, you and the team at VanGo really thought everything out, and I think Brian is living with some of those shortcuts as he tours the lower 48. If itâs worth doing, itâs worth doing right!
Amazing job! A highly anticipated video and it is amazing
Sick build, my man - it turned out incredibly well. That garage is simply spectacular!
Thanks!
Very informative tour Paul.
Thanks for the details. Especially the tip about lowering the seats when they get raised up on the swivels. Never heard anyone mentioning that before.
Shout out to vango for crushing it.
No probs!
It's a top quality build, those guys at Van Go are proper craftsmen.
I was honestly expecting the build cost to be around $100k Canadian. Incredible value when you consider that it's a home, office and garage all in one. You must be so stoked, Paul.
I can't believe that whole converted van cost 70,000 Canadian! I'm for sure hitting up VanGo!
Keep in mind, that he did not have to pay for labor
Of course you are, lol.
He has more money in drawer pulls than I had in my entire bed setup in my first conversion, haha.
@@hanchesterman5661 70k includes labour. He paid alot less than 70k
Itâs a lot of money circa ÂŁ40K, but it is one of the best Iâve seen. 4months work on & off I guess. Plus the kit they use is all top end stuff. Can definitely get some bits cheaper but you wonât save much. Fantastic job
Amazing! Really appreciate you sharing this. The end results far outweigh the costs incurred. The Wi Fi amplifier and repeater are đ„Best wishes on your upcoming adventures.
Thanks a bunch!
Absolutely AWESOME! You're doing great things!
Thanks!
That's probably the nicest MTB build I have ever seen !
Congrats PTP! Be great to get through this sitch and see you out and about or aboot (wait your not Canadian)...see you out on the road!
That is an amazing van step-up. I think this would be a great option for me when I retire and want to do a lot more traveling.
Super cool congrats!! đ. Every episode is superbđ€đœ
Awesome van set up. Defo always want to see the garage first đ
First time I've seen a slide out workbench / storage. That's pretty awesome!
Incredible and beautiful design built, great job.
I definetly steal some ideas for my next van! love the mtb garage. keep it rollin!
fantastic quality and electrics look like something for a sci-fi film , imagine what they could do with a XLWB Iveco , full size bathroom , sofa and a sink with a drainer .
Paul you are bloody nifty on the business side, I'll give you that, Hope your helping some of the other CZcamsrs not get stiffed by the industry
I like he says "Definitely going to sleep fully clothed." XD This is an amazing van build, so neat and organized. Even the garage looks super great. Just make sure to put things back where they belong in the Van, Paul.
Can't wait to see this thing on the road! This is my dream! I've been living in a dodgy low free candy type van for 3 years slowly trying to save towards one of these mansions. Will definitely be stealing a few ideas when the time comes :)
I love the van!! Great video Paul as per usual! đ
@paul this is so crazy...my husband and I stayed at the exact same campsite in Sedona! One morning we woke up and opened the sliding door, and a hot air balloon was landing 50 yards away!!! Sick van. You are inspiring us to build another :)
$70,000 Canadian is only $12 U.S.
Excuse me I only invest in monopoly money
I'll give you 5 dolla
Great video, thanks! Allan and gang do excellent work, I think I will use them to do my van too! Canât wait!
Nice!
Couldnât wait for this vid
Work of art, from start to finish... đđ
They did an outstanding job
Biker Van life 2020... Garages, Swivel chairs. Work Editing stations, Power needs. Water. Storage Heat cool. Light blocking., Bathrooms.. DIY or Pay the man.... Who's is better!? BKXC? PtP? TSS? Rinse Repeat this build does look pro level by VanGo
Very nice! I like the TF sticker on the fridge. Nice touch
Wait.... YOU GOT A VAN!?!?! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Congrats on the world class build!
đđ
Stay safe out there, Paul.
Love that celing looks like bonsai tree's.. Vans awsome enjoy paul
I donât think I will ever own a van but I love watching videos about them for some reason. I think it is the build part of me that likes them. They are really cool and this one is a punters delight. Thatâs right a punters delight you can reuse that original comment đ. Another great video.
Van looks sick can't wait for more videos
Me too!
The van looks sick!
This van is too good for this guy.
Itâs a really nice build. Much higher quality than my Revel. Then again I didnât have to wait 4 months and Iâve an indoor shower. Thatâs nice when itâs 4F outside. đ. Enjoy your van travels and if you swing by Boulder, CO let us know!
This build is sick!
WoW!! that van is amazing!!!!
Looks amazing! Awesome layout.
Cheers bud!
Super luxurious van! Enjoy it
Turned out great Paul
amazing content and amazing van! your amazing Paul!! too much awesome
Beautiful van built
Your van build is awesome. Very well thought out and excellently built. I myself would consider a similar build with differences to suit what I need. But 90% of what you have is how I believe I would have done it
Spot on van build. So well thought out. VanGo did an amazing job. Everything has clean lines. I love the marine drawer locks when I see them used. If I could get this done in light colour wood, it would be perfect đ anyway, just wanted to wave hello from Devon \â/ and wish you all the best during the lockdown, wherever you end up.
this beast is SO purdeeee in person...đ
Fantastic and best Iâve seen yet for sure. Please watch the flame deflection on the rear burner once a pot/pan is on it. Something tells me the window shade wonât like the heat. 4â of stainless up the back there would do the trick.
Yeah I checked that, comes nowhere near the window frame.
Love it!! Iâve been thinking of trading my van in for a Sprinter. Absolutely love your floor plan! Stay safe, buddy!
Cheers Dave!!!
Congrats on the van :) stay safe out there and have fun breakin her in!
Hey Paul! Perhaps consider some vertical insert you can throw behind the burner that is closest to the door. Otherwise you might end up splashing food all over that beautiful woodwork & window cover! Really great build - glad to see this thing finally come together and for you to be on the road. Looking forward to seeing where you go. Stay safe out there in COVID land, man!
Yeah I checked that, comes nowhere near the window frame.
The best van build i have seen đ
I loved everything about this build...except for the part when we see Paulâs food pantry sits right above his toilet đł
Dude, I wanna be you in some years so much
Really good deal for both you and them.
Such a great van that it's something I'd love too have !!!
This is definitely the cleanest and well-thought van build I have seen! OK, Greg Virgoe's van is also "a perfect build" but he doesn't have a place to put mountain bikes in it, so you won Paul! :-D
Turned out super well in the end. Hope you had a blast in Sedona with it!.... I'm presuming you're not doing too much travelling now.
Hey Paul, am I right in hearing from your videos that you live in Canada? I'd love to hear your story, you seem to have one worth telling. Love the videos. I did a road trip out in Canada last year with a few friends, we travelled from London to Toronto, and then drove out to Vancouver! Got back into mountain biking just a few weeks ago and found your videos, great content.
very attractive build!
This is the best van build I've seen yet. The only fault is that it's based in a Promaster van, which are known to be junk. Lots of mechanical issues, and undeliverable in snow and rain due to being front wheel drive.
Such a nice van
Awesome van! Great design! My one concern is regarding the garage.....when you store used items in the shelves/cubby holes, the wood inside will act like sponges if you don't treat them with some kind of sealant.
LOVE THIS!!!
Loved your video
Looks sick have the best time travelling the country
Need more Van life updates!
The best You Tuber van out there! đ€
đââïž
Really cool garage area. Are you happy with the decision of closing off the back, I love the light I get though there but I like that it separates the spaces.
You should definatley get it wraped in a custom Paul The Punter Wrap!
WOW that turned out beautiful!! If i ever win lotto im going to vanGO for sure lol
Niceeee
Love this video and also love the content
The only thing that would make this van even better is a pop top... that would be perfection.
