2022 Recap - Half way through WA

Here's some of our favourite places from 2022 - our 5th year travelling Australia Full-time in our Caravan!

We kicked it off living the Broome Life, boats, beaches, buddies, and that Pindan red dirt between your toes. Something about it! The odd trip up to the Dampier Peninsula and James Price Point while we were working, it took us a few false starts to get back on the road again.
With Wombat in tow, we headed south through Barn Hill station, Port Smith lagoon, Cape Keraudren, and then inland on the Rio Tinto Rail Road to Tom Price and Karijini National Park.
On to Exmouth and Ningaloo Station where we camped right on the beach for a month! Heaven! The sunsets off the Western Australian Coast are something else! Yep, one of those actually brought me to tears. Got to swim with the whale sharks, snorkel the reef, caught our best fish yet, and hiked in to check out and fly the drone around the old Lighthouse ruins.
As we got further south, the cold kicked in so we turned back around and set ourselves up at Karratha to work for a while. We scored VIP tickets to the Pannawonica Robe River Rodeo and jumped on the Air Fryer band wagon - OMG, loving it! We've finished out the year here and might be staying put in the high vis for a little while yet. But we've got some big things happening in 2023! Happy New Year to all our friends and Family.
