It's nice to see Jordy get some of the better waves of the heat , I've felt over the years in some tough heats that the ocean or judge's haven't been so kind to the big man .

I couldn’t believe they decided to judge John’s 6.9 over Jordy’s 6.8. Jordy does a roundhouse, equal turn to Johns, and then a big turn off the lip to finish, but that’s less?!?! Judges are SO INCONSISTENT! They gave two 6.5’s and two 7.5’s for Johns 6.9. Like they are supposed to know what a score is supposed to be but half of them are a full point away from each other?!?! That’s not even close. If it’s such a close score why doesn’t WSL show a side by side comparison of those two waves?? They didn’t cause they aren’t even close! But they have the gull to write their own narratives over and over again in these contests and they hire commentators who cant say anything against them! This is what happens when everyone lies and then everyone will suffer! Be truthful!!
If not JJF then Jordy is my second pick. I truly believe JJF will win the world championship this year. He is focused and with his mutant talent doing mutant things. The only problems is the stupid , ridiculous format done at the WORST place possible, Trestles where championship is decided on beginner level waves. Just stupid WSL format
