Literally! Yesterday a guy that I kinda like called me twice and I couldnât pick up the phone!! I was so scared!! Wtf is wrong with me đ€Łđ
I do not mind talking to a friend through phones but I do feel a relief if they hang up soon đ it's not that I don't love them, it's just exhausting for me..
Phone calls cause overthinking and social anxiety tho, so in reality, phone calls are 100% pain

3:42 ISFP here. I was eating at a diner once and they mistakenly brought me chicken fried chicken when I had ordered chicken fried steak. I politely pointed it out to the waiter but said that I would stick with the chicken and that all I wanted was for the price difference to be acknowledged when it was time for me to pay (since the chicken was cheaper). A few minutes later, the manager came to my table and told me that my dinner was free. I don't know if it turned out that way because I was polite, but it didn't hurt. Always be polite when somebody messes up your order. They're just as human as you are. We all make mistakes.

What I love about Frank making reaction to meme videos is he doesn't force that fake, gut belly laugh like other people. You know he probably reviewed the memes before recording, but his chuckle is still genuine which makes it funnier. Good stuff đ

For me, it's the social anxiety of not knowing if I'm supposed to say goodbye to the employees on my way out. Sometimes I say it and get ignored, probably because I mumbled instead of being loud enough for them to hear, so usually I leave silently, unless they shout a "Have a nice day!" at me xD

True Story: I was at home and heard my brother say "...friends...here..." and before he finished his sentence, I had already ducked into my room and locked the door for half an hour.
Then turns out, my brother's friends only came by to drop something off and left immediately.

Personally if someone I have to call doesn't answer I get disappointed since I finally worked up the courage to call them. Leaving a message/ phone tag gives me more anxiety

Hey Frank! I know that this is not related to the video but I really want you to know that I want to thank you . I knew that there was something MBTI stuff but I was never interested in it. But in the last few weeks, fb recommended your multiple videos. And I got curious and tried a MBTI test . Found out I am an INFJ.after knowing all that I've realised that THERE ARE PEOPLE LIKE ME . I used to think that i'm the only one who is like always miserable. You're videos helped me a lot to know about myself and people like me. Thank you! I sincerely mean it.

Ayo that's cool but just remember not to define yourself by the four letters some online test gave you. Even though you got infj you can still be happy. Use the test as a tool to improve yourself
That bowling one really got me. It doesn't matter if I got a gutter ball or a strike; I wish that the floor would open and consume me after the ball leaves my hand so I don't have to turn around and face the people staring at me.
I haven't bowled in like 10 years but that feeling is like a smell you recognize from your grandma's house. It sticks around.
Also: How cool would it be if the floor DID open and consume the bowler and there was a mechanism like the ball return that returned you subtly to your seat? I want to invent this.

In my experience as a professional pseudo-extrovert INFP who works at home, doing administrative back office tasks which involves making calls, it helps us to speak up when we're speaking up for someone else (or something that is important) and not our personal selves. Like, my job involves being a patient advocate, so I really appreciate this.

@VyVAceShaz When I've taken the test I've gotten ENFP some times & other times INFP. Which is probably fitting as an ambivert. I seem to have a blend of qualities from both.

I once zoned out during a lesson at school and then I stopped once I realised. I mentioned to my friend how I canât stop zoning out. I then proceeded to overthink telling that to my friend and zoned out on the topic of zoning out. I managed to stop myself but it was embarrassing to me.

Actually, the memes are in fact, the dream life. I love not going out and staying in front of my PC with snacks, got nothing to do with depression lmao. I never get bored when I'm alone. No one is there to bother me and ask me why I'm spacing out either. The reason why a lot of introverts are unhappy is because we live in a society made for extroverts. People immediately pin our behaviours as depressive, anxious, etc, something to "fix". Ain't nothing wrong with us!

It's the way sometimes anything sad, but general can get lumped up with introvert ness when it's in fact just something general that anyone can be experiencing.
For instance, this video had several general memes that didn't seem to have anything to do with being an introvert, but the thing is they are all sad. The general/vague ones. So it paints a overall picture like being an introvert is about this sad sad things when it's not
That wonât happen. Many ignorant people think only introverts have depression or mental issues. We are complex and not similar among us, even we enjoy life in different ways and that is why extroverts think we are weird. I can talk when I have to, but I dislike to do it with people ( including some introverts) who think it is funny to insult me and considered me boring. Depression taught me to be brutally honest now because I have had enough of annoying people telling me how to live. Now I laught at people that I piss off when they are trying to be rude to me. So learn to be happy. Most of people think they are right always, but they donât admit they get mad when you point out their defects and how annoying they can be. I met many introverts that would tell me I was wrong for showing emotions towards family, friends or partner when we should keep it insideBut telling them I dont care what they do because I would never have affection towards them, it seemed that my words hurt them. They were calling me an idiot for being like that as an introvert and I was just being honest.
Jokes aside it's really hard to maintain relationships with other human beings when you are an introvert đ

As an extrovert watching this feels like I'm invading someone's personal space
I felt zero pain once, about 19 years ago. No pain of any kind anywhere. It felt so weird I thought I might be having a stroke and started to have a panic attack. Thankfully it (absence of pain) didn't last more than a couple of hours.
Me too! About 12 yrs ago! I had a cold and put a timer on for 20 minutes bcuz I needed to pick my kids up from school-fell kinda half asleep and dreamed I was walking a big German Shepherd dog (?), and realized I wasn't worried or anx or other pain-so much that it scared me and I woke all the way up. So funny a short nap but feeling pain free, I still remember as clear as if it was only a week ago~
I can relate to all the phone call ones. I literally groan when told I have a call and have to talk myself up to calling back
When bowling I always walk back while the ball is still rolling, so they'll look at the pins instead of me. Diversion is everything.

After 12 days of continuous thinking and practising , i finally said " good morning" to a gaurd uncle on my way of coaching đđ
I feel like bad sleep and mental health problems are making me more introverted and it really sucks, because I don't have the energy to go out and meet people and I'm starting to lose the connections with my friends. I feel so sad, like I'm not myself anymore.

I just make my extroverted husband answer all phone calls and if I need to make a phone call, I do my best to get him to make it. Especially if it involves talking to strangers. It makes his day and I am off the hook.

That song in the car bit, I remember when I was a college instructor and me and my fellow instructors went to Davao which is a 4-5 hour ride and someone just decided to have my playlist because they want "something from me" being the most introverted in the group. So I gave them my phone and the very first song in my playlist was Heathens(the suicide squad soundtrack) but then the girl at the front of the vehicle said "what is this? I DONT LIKE IT" and she thinks she's being funny because everyone laughed. I am broken hearted coz that's one of my favorites. She then proceeded to skip Lorde's "everybody wants to rule the world" and Taylor's safe and sound because "it is too dark and we want jaaaaaam" I got my phone back and didn't talk the whole ride..

This is so relatable.
I feel like I'm an ambivert though, I like alone time, but I like being around people more. But interacting with people can be awkward. Which is why online and texting apps are a life saver. I'd like to go to a party. But only if I don't know most of the people there. So I can be myself and have fun without having to worry about embarrassing myself or doing something wrong in front of people ik.
I'm actually the opposite when I call and someone doesn't pick up, I get a little bit angry like "I just spent all this effort mustering the courage preparing to call you, and you don't even respond? Now I'm gonna have to retreat to my introvert den to nurse my wounds and muster the courage to call back an hour later, only to get caught completely off guard when, without warning, you call back. You really ought to text me to warn me before you call."
I'm an introvert, but my anxiety would sky rocket if the Uber driver doesn't try any form of small talk, I mean kidnap alert Lmao
