  • My leadership project consisted of me interviewing legendary hall of fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Mr. Lukas talks about his personal leadership skills, the leadership (or lack of!) in the horse industry, how his masters degree in education helps him be a leader and what motivates him today.

A legend...Great Interview! I didn't know D. Wayne Lukas held a masters and was a basketball coach before going on to greatness within thoroughbred racing

Hay oats and sweet feed is way up. Fuel to ship is sky high. Shit be hitting the fan! The racing fan is LAST on all of their lists. Beat up on everybody else! Lovely! No wonder nobody wants to start training. Guy and his crew got a lock on the industry.

Horses let you know in their own way. Dwayne has lost a few horses under his care. His son took his shit for so long and had enough of The Game! Look how they did Jeff. Your Halo is tipping Dwayne.

I watch you jumping thread to thread trashing the game and the players. Jeff Lukas was trampled by a horse doing a job he loved. He sustained a HORRIBLE brain injury. Yet he insisted on coming back but it was too much for him. One of his dads clients got him a small job at a small town bank he owned in Oklahoma. Jeff lived out the rest of his shortened life there in peaceful surroundings.
. You are just another drive by critic of the game. You know nothing, pal. Give it up.
By the way, his name is D. Wayne, not Dwayne. He has never claimed to wear a halo and small time thinkers like you are of no consequence to him. I'd love to hear you run by your nasty take on Jeff face to face with the man.

So how come the game is in the preverbial shithouse? Seems like the same Lucas crew and disciples sucking it all up! I mean really, they got all the money, and they got all the horses so pretty soon they gonna be racing against one another. They already got 2 or three in every race. Pretty easy game when You Know! I hear a sucking sound! Same ones Sucking Up All the money! Classic TB Cartel!
