Hi! I had a (blessed) easy first conception, pregnancy and birth 2 years ago that gave us our son. Now this year, as we try for number two, my body is stumbling! I miscarried in June at 7 weeks. Now I’m pregnant again, as soon as I tested positive, my midwives tested blood levels (HCG and progesterone). Was good for being so early. A week later, the redraw showed my HCG is doing wonderful (79 to 1097) but my progesterone went from 24 to 15? They’re worried that it’s dropping too soon and want to supplement with oral progesterone for next 8 weeks (I’m 4w4d today). So how much CoQ10 and NAC would you suggest? And do you think I should take the oral progesterone? The studies vary on efficacy and more so if it’s started as soon as you have a positive pregnancy test. Also, I eat super clean Whole Foods, been reading real food for pregnancy, and just pounding all the good stuff! Household chemicals could get a relook, but clean detergent/face care. And use dawn and meyers in kitchen. Any advice welcome! Trying to save this pregnancy if possible!

Coconut milk is a wonderful alternative and there are good ones that don't have many additives at all 😊

Have they done recurrent miscarriage panel blood work? This will show presence of antibodies. If you do have antibodies for certain things, those will assume your baby is foreign material entering the body and try to expel it out. If everything comes out normal on this, you could ask them check for you and your spouse/partner's chromosomes for abnormality. If everything there is ok, and you get pregnant next, they usually put you on Progesterone (if not already done in the previous pregnancies) and low dose aspirin. This is supposed to help keep the pregnancy. I'm not a doctor, so don't take my word for any of the above. You could check these with your doctor. just telling from my own experience and from reading online about this. Good luck.

@@thunderbird4086 yes have had all those checked and just as you said, no blood clotting issues and they put me on progesterone super early with this one, but my thyroid was way high and they told me to wait til the next month to check it... But she died before I could get the blood work done again😥. I never had an issue before so I didn't no what the normal was, and that was my fault. But at the same time I no the Lord wanted her in heaven with Him and my other 12 tiny ones and that gives me comfort... Thank you so so much for taking all the time to respond, that was very kind of you to reach out and try to help me 🥲

@Jennifer Noyes - I'm so sorry to hear of your losses...devastating. My heart, love, and support are with you right now ❤ I have a lot of questions about all of this and there is certainly a lot we can do moving forward. Because there is involvement of so much, the protocol I would recommend is different than for someone with no known autoimmune issues. Please feel free to email me rose@fertilitymom.com, and join my Facebook group if you're not already in there bit.ly/3w5B5jz. If you're able to come to the live (free) masterclass happening tomorrow, July 29th, at 1:00pm EST I think that would be really helpful - I talk about autoimmune conditions and fertility strategy in this ❤ Sending you love!
