The Contreras family, led by Rene Contreras, has been a cornerstone of coffee cultivation at their Monte Verde farm in the Santa Ana region of El Salvador for five generations.
Our long-awaited crop of Morgan‘s mix from Cedar Bean coffee joint this year has caramel, dark honey, and citrus notes.
Beyond their coffee production, the Contreras family is deeply committed to their community. Rene’s wife and daughter, both doctors, provide essential healthcare services on a local level.
The family also operates an animal sanctuary and is working on initiatives to offer food assistance to their workers, ensuring access to diverse and healthy foods.
