    I would suggest painting at least some primer. Amazon and Eastwood have epoxy primer for metal or automotive paint to at least give you the needed protection to stop rusting and list for $63.00 a gallon i would think you could do inside and outside both for spraying with compressor and paint gun plus whatever type thinner you would use for that type paint. Just a suggestion

      Bad idea. Primer holds moisture. Moisture causes rust.

    I have been watching your videos for a few years. You have had many up's and down's through out. I would definitely be interested in listening to; or even watching a video on your life story. Where you came from and up to your current situation, Topics like your up bringing, Where do you stay during this build, and what do you do for income for such a projects. I think that would be a pretty nice video and believe your audience would enjoy+++. Wish you the best and will keep up to date on your videos!

    Just a thought but if you installed a composting toilet (we did) you wouldn’t need a black water tank. One, saves a lot of water. Two, never need to find a dump station. Best thing we ever did.

    Nice work. I just can’t picture the layout. It doesn’t look like a lot of room for a bed with kitchen and shower. Can we see a diagram of the layout?

    Just make sure you paint before you start building or adding anymore. Steel really likes to rust and you wouldn't have to rebuild areas in a couple years. Primer and paint is your best friend

      a big advantage of the pacific northwest is that we don't salt our roads in the winter, and we don't get strong salt air from the pacific ocean the way the northeastern states get it from the atlantic. cars rarely rust out here, even when parked out in a field for 50+ years.

    I think mini-split /C would be better You could weld back up and install a mini splits much more efficient get it SEER 22. 120V.

      Agreed, at 7:20 Nathan mentions a possible future upgrade to mini-split. ☮️
      For now, the window a/c that was recently installed in Patches will help get Patches back on the road. 👍

    Where to stay,boondock-living in an RV without getting kicked out is the question?

    • @marzsit9833
      @marzsit9833 Před 25 dny +1

      as long as you move around daily it's not that hard to find overnight spots. it's when people plant their rigs in the same spot for days or weeks that problems result.

      @@Cutlass_Rudd sounds like you tend to go for truck stop type spots. why? look at a map and you can find tons of quiet spots for one night.

      @@queenstownkid That's going to be super hot in the summer, super cold in the winter and the metal inside will have condensation all the time in winter. So Nat replaced the rotting wood with mold RV to a rusting damp RV.
