8:05 The magic where hitting the soft 18 favours the player but doesn’t favour the dealer!
Because the difference all comes down to when you double soft 18 against a bust card, you stand and hope dealer will bust if you make 15 or 16! Where as if the rule is dealer must hit soft 18, they must keep on hitting until hard 17 or higher!!
So it’s so ironic how hitting soft 18 benefits the player but if the dealer tries it, it actually favours the player and reduces the house edge!!!

Curious how the casino would benefit in offering this game over a traditional blackjack. It seems like immediate paying on 21 and all other rules applying benefits the player, perhaps I’m missing a drawback?
