Love the vid and I really appreciate you Admiral for doing my request. Great content I personally love the BF109 line and especially the BR 2 BF109 F1/F2 even with their sorta weak bombs, but anyways I really enjoyed this vid thanks. BTW what do you think is the best low BR plane just asking out of curiosity.
As I mentioned, one of the better one all-around is IAR-81C Romanian plane in German army. The black camoo Italian premium plane is good too. đđź

i took the F2 out today to counter the endless waves of whirlwinds. quiet effective i must say. the 15mm is lacking the damage. it's extremely inconsistent for some reason. also admiral, you're overestimating the IAR 100%. you're def. a better pilot than me, but i think you're too much in love with the IAR. it's just way too slow and it turns well once. then you'Re flying at 190 km/h and this thing became a brick. however... i'm looking forward for the video: IAR @ BR V âđ

i love the 109 f1, when i was in low tier and flying with the iar was getting a bit stale i chose this aircraft to just shoot down planes cause i feel like it turns better. and the bombs are enough to kill every low br tank
Great flying. I used to struggle with the 109 going too fast and loosing her in a dive but will try them again soon after watching this.
All 109s pull up well, can't compare to FockWolfs.. they pancake and crash.
Request for a video about flaps: wtf is combat, takeoff and up; also "energy retention" and "boom and zoom" and other war thunder PhD words.
I dunno how to explain what I do.. but perhaps one day đ
1. Combat flaps are for slowing down and making tighter turns,
2. Takeoff flaps are for getting left and taking off
3. Up is just flaps being aligned with the rest of the wing so you can go as fast as you can.
4. Energy retention is fighting whilst maintaing your speed, the bf 109 is great at it because it can climb without losing too much speed (this is your energy)
5. Boom and zoom is just diving down on an opponent in a shallow dive and hit or miss you "zoom" off and run away as quick as you can especially in planes that are not good at dog fighting e.g. P-47
It would be cool to set up the me 109 same as p 38 give a bommber and fighter role so two can be up at sqme time. Would let peope play them more
The sad part is, that BF109F4, BF109G10 / G14 / 109K do not have any bombs.. Similar with FW190A1/A4 and C202EC. Even 2x50kg would help a lot. Having plane that is ony good for A-A role is not very useful.
BF-109F1/F2 listed as separate planes are also strange. Light machineguns are only good against weak planes like I-153 etc. But if you have to fight against people with Ju-188 in lone fighter battles, you are screwed because only that cannon does any damage and you are out of ammo quickly while inflicting only minor damage. So with this squad I simply use IAR-81C. Even the BF-109E7 with 2x20mm cannons usually works better. It even climbs better.
BF109 G6 is probably best Messer as it has 200rnds for 20mm cannon, 2x large caliber machineguns and 4x50kg bombs. Fast enough, climbs well, not very manouverable though.
On the other hand with Yak-1 or Yak-7B I can happily engage any plane and in usually win. And if I see tank, I can kill even TigerII with good hit. But once you get Yak-3, you have almost useless plane. And then La-5 and later La-7 are all you need for soviets. It can kill anything, bomb anything and can survive some light hits.

Reggiane planes are great. The tech tree one, Re.2000 turns on a dime, and has decent amount of 12.7 mm. Premium Re.2001 is also very nice, 20mm, 12.7 and best of all 250kg. All in one package, but the engine heats too fast.
i have been beating br 5 russian planes with tier one bf 109 its funny

Russain BR5 planes are really lacking. The LA7s 20mms dont act like 20s and the IL10 handles like a flying barge
No reason to play them when the IAR81C and Stuka D-5 exists

@@bbcmotd thats the reason its an event reward. And do you want them to ad only vehicles that saw service? There would be very few new updates cause they would run out of things to ad fast.
